Let's hear it for Malcolm Hill & the seniors

For a player who says very little, he sure just said ALOT to us all....thank you Malcolm for being the leader that the ILLINI needed!

MH played with a passion tonight against MI St that was not to be denied. Congrats to him for moving into 4th place in all-time Illini scoring. Thanks, Malcolm, and keep it up because the season isn't over with yet. We've loved you and all the seniors over the last +4 years.

Aw Man. Malcolm just made me tear up. Make sure you get a chance to watch his postgame halfcourt interview with BTN.

It's one shining moment.

Thank you seniors!

Thank you Jaylon!
Thank you Big Mike!
Thank you Malcolm!
Thank you Tracy!
Thank you Maverick!
Thank you Alex!

You all worked your asses off for one another and for us. We wish you all of the best things life has. All 6 of you have made us proud.

Holy crap he had a hell of a game. Multiple broken ankles and the passion he played with was through the roof. Thanks to all the seniors, amazing game.

Special class of seniors, making sure they finished their careers right even with all of the negative noise around the program and their HC. Obviously, special props to TA, who has got to be one of the most unique Illini ever. Also, shoutouts to MH and MM for incredible amounts of development to their game as their time with the Illini.

Going to miss all these seniors especially #21,22, and 13.

Malcolm for the steady play over the past 4 years.

Mav for the great improvement he's made the past 2 years.

Tracy for the determination to come back after 2 bad injuries.

Lets go out with a bang guys!

This says it better than I can. +1

Can anyone clue me in on Mike Thorne seemingly free fall this season?

Werner mentioned on the radio today that it has a lot to do with his diabetes. It's so severe that he doesn't recover well from injuries, even the general bumps and bruises that rack up for a big guy like him. Combine that with the more serious injury from last year (knee, right?) and he just doesn't have it physically anymore.

Oh my, that really sucks. I hope and pray he gets a handle on it.

Malcolm Hill is as class an act as any act out there. What a great example for Illini basketball.

I'll add my thank you to Malcom, Maverick and the rest of the seniors. They've had a tough run, but they've always played with class.

I was sitting in front of my TV clapping for Malcolm and TA last night on the BTN post game interviews. Mav's progress over the years has been amazing, and the efforts of Austin, Thorne, and Tate as teammates and representatives of the program has been exemplary.

These guys have done so much in their time here that I want so much for them to be able to play until at least the 16th/17th.

No question about this! Really a tremendous representative of Illinois and will be missed.

Thank you to all the seniors! Certainly Malcolm is at the top, but Tracy for his perseverance and love for UI, and Mav for his hard work and determination, he really has improved greatly these past two years.

Hope we can get an NCAA bid for these seniors especially.

Big guy + knee injuries + diabetes = Mike Thorne

Feel bad for him.

The sad part is the cynical irrational portion of our fan base will just write him off as another "mid major transfer; mid major talent who excels in OOC, but can't compete in the B1G."

This guy was a force to be reckoned with before his injury last year, who by the way, chose to come to Illinois over KANSAS and KENTUCKY. Iowa State, #4 in the country at that time, had no answer for him in that game prior to his injury. He was easily a top 4 Big in the B1G prior to that injury. Really sad that it had to end this way for him.

Happy for Malcom and the Seniors (by the way that would be a funny cover band name)... Hope they can keep the winning streak alive. Keep climbing the ladder.

On a tangent, which was hokier the ladder or Weber's "Self Era Funeral"?

Weber's "Five fingers make a fist" speech. Worst.Ever.
