LOL. I know how I put on 25-30 lbs during my college days... but I'm not sure how it will make him a better basketball player...I could show him how

Why not? I came close due to COVID.Think Lieb can put on 50lbs in one off season???
Freak Athlete, long and is our best shooter from the perimeter. If he is healthy, he will be a dart thrower from the three.I haven't seen Hutch play. What makes him a difference maker?
This.4. At worst, this should be a borderline top 25 team next year. At best, top 10 and contender-type. If Kofi returns, we retain our main guys, and we add an impact player or 2, we're right back in the swing of things.
I am not a weave fan. I am about crisp passes and dribble drives. Lots of movement to make the D work.I hope B U changes the weave and gets more players moving and passing. Loyola showed how to stop the weave.
I would like BU to watch the 15 pass sequence we had in 2005 and use that offense next year. Constant movement and passingI am not a weave fan. I am about crisp passes and dribble drives. Lots of movement to make the D work.
To be fair every offense looks better when you have the type of talent and shooting the 05 guards had. Illinois had a good % from 3 this season but they had to be very selective on their attempts and didn't get many 3s up per game.I would like BU to watch the 15 pass sequence we had in 2005 and use that offense next year. Constant movement and passing
It was a thing of beauty. However, I don’t think Weber ever found another group that could run the motion that way. I don’t know why it’s so difficult, but it appears to be. I still have nightmares of hearing BW yelling MOOOOOVE!!!I would like BU to watch the 15 pass sequence we had in 2005 and use that offense next year. Constant movement and passing

how about a lil Harlem Globetrotters weave to make you laughI am not a weave fan. I am about crisp passes and dribble drives. Lots of movement to make the D work.
It is really hard to argue the Big Ten was as strong as everyone was saying when there is only on team left after the first weekend! While I absolutely believed prior to the tournament that the Big Ten was the dominant league, I have my doubts now that I've watched the OSU, Illini and Iowa get battered. With losses also by MSU, Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin, I think we have shown that our perceived dominance was an illusion.
I think I watched more college basketball this year than any season in my life. This tournament makes me feel like I learned nothing. It is really hard to argue the Big Ten was as strong as everyone was saying when there is only on team left after the first weekend!

Nothing I thought would happen has happened, other than Gonzaga & Baylor being really good.
Agree about Belo and Miller's play, both are good reasons to be excited about next season.I have faith in Underwood, Antigua, Chin and Gentry to find a decent center, if Kofi leaves. That is all we need with Melendez and Goode coming aboard. We still have the best PG in the Big Ten and Mr. Basketball (Miller) with a year of experience. When you think about it , Belo and Miller were the only players that played respectfully vs. Loyola.
I think that flying illini style of a roster loaded with athletic 6’6” to 6’8” wings and maybe 1-2 smaller point guard with great ball handling skills and 1 versatile big man gives any team unbelievable options.I basically only watch B1G basketball during the regular season, but try and watch a majority of march madness.
Seeing how teams like FSU and Bama play (recency bias I know), make me wonder if that's where BU would like to be. Maybe you have 1 guy on the court short than 6'5", but 3 and D and athletes rule their game. It's genuinely fun to watch. And it's effective on both sides of the ball. The way we've loaded up on wings makes me believe we are at least experimenting with it.
If you surround Curbelo with 3 pt threats, I'll take that over any team in the country. Miller is a fantastic start. Goode/Mendelez add to that for sure.
We're also in a great spot to grab a major impact C next year. I think a lot of guys who'd be on the fence about staying will leave with the 1 time transfer rule in effect, not to mention the extra year of eligibility. If there was ever a year to grab a 25+ min C transfer, it's this year.
SI called the Flying Illini "positionless clones." So fun to watch! I think it's just hard to find five guys that good at the same time.I think that flying illini style of a roster loaded with athletic 6’6” to 6’8” wings and maybe 1-2 smaller point guard with great ball handling skills and 1 versatile big man gives any team unbelievable options.
Alabama this year is a testament to this and I would not mind if we followed that model.
If it's Walker Kessler, I'd be shocked if he wasn't heading to Georgia, Georgia Tech, some place like that. Pretty sure his dad and brother played at Georgianorth carolina 5 star center just entered the transfer portal
I don't think anyone outside of Curbelo is set in stone to stay. I feel 4-5 transfers, unfortunately. That's just a vibe check from watching player body language during games, however.
Curbelo and Adam aren't going anywhere. That is the future of our program. Same with Coleman, Grandinson, Hutch (if healthy), Giorgi, and KOFI (if he stays). to sure who you are referencing but it won't be any of the players that I just listedI don't think anyone outside of Curbelo is set in stone to stay.
