LSU hoops receives a Notice of Allegations

Maybe we’d take him back without chin because we’d have more control of the whole situation without promises to keep.

Also, maybe the problem was truly his family and he was really bought in to the Illini.

Only two perspectives I can see this early.
It also seems like he's maintained his friendships with his former Illini teammates. It could be he realized the grass isn't always greener. If that's the case, I'd be thrilled to have him back as long as BU thinks he could manage the situation.

If he left because someone (he or mom) was not happy with playing time, being the man.......whatever, with the guys we have coming in, and the freshman this year, I feel that we are an even deeper and more talented team than when he was here to begin with. Seems like the alleged reasons for leaving would be more of an issue next year than the year he left. Just me thinkin' out loud

I actually think scholarship availability would be the bigger barrier. Think we're already overcommitted for next year were everyone with eligibility to come back. But of course there will be transfers. Between Trent, DMW and Plummer, and any transfers or someone like Jake moving on, I think if there is space, there will be minutes available.

Also just on the depth piece, we are losing at least 3 and potentially all 5 starters from this year's team. We will have a very young team next year. AM started every game for us on a team that was a 1-seed. I'm sure he could be of value.

I don’t think it will happen. But it’s been discussed. Him and Brad still talk weekly
Even if it doesn’t happen, I think that is a cool testament to the character of Underwood and the respect AM has for him. Cool thing to hear as I certainly didn’t assume there was communication (especially on a weekly basis). We have a great HC and bunch of AC’s, everyone. Good time to be an Illini basketball fan.

Exactly, that’s great to hear. That makes me like Brad more for that than any other reason.

Not a fan of Wade, but I wish the ncaa would have gone all in and investigated Duke and Coach K and made public all the shenanigans that went on there.
The NCAA has no interest in policing LSU anymore than they do Duke. These organizations care as much of the sports or the athletes as McDonalds cares about their burgers. All they care about is selling the product which is a monopoly on licensing rights, and it’s only when those interests align does it appear that they have an interest in sportsmanship, fairness, athletes, education, etc.

Is this one of those situations where allegations leveled against LSU will mean sanctions against someone like UL-Lafayette or -Monroe or what-have-you?

McDonald's cares more about the property they lease out than the burgers for sure. Very apt analogy.

Clearly Alan Griffin is still tight with the program despite transferring out. It seems to me that there's a lot of evidence in the column for these people transferring out at least somewhat against their own wills.

Does this mean BAM can cut his hair? /s

* I hate that the “/s” is required. Loses emphasis.

WHY? Both are so busy in their daily lives, one of them coaching and keeping in touch with recruits. The other one college classes with basketball practices and games. I don't understand how they could or why they would want to.

I would think the ship has sailed. I hope we get to see Skyy Clark in the Orange and Blue. I would think Miller probably won't be ready for basketball until Dec with a torn ACL. Maybe I am wrong. It takes time.
