Did they change the national anthem back to before the teams come out?

It was a nice idea to have it when both teams were out there, but with our routine it is a lot nice when it comes at the conclusion of the Patriotic part of the band intro.

Just wanted to add that performing at Urbana HS before this game was a great idea.

Yeah, I could care less what music they decide to pair up with the highlight video. To me most of that music has been recycled all over sports in general. Being that this is college football, I am drawn more to the unique quality of the band.

I was specifically describing the drums leading the players out of the tunnel onto the field.

I only make it to 1 or 2 games each year but I am always impressed with the band. At least one group on the field has it together:thumb:

I have been really impressed with the MI this year. They only that needs to change is playing the Alma Mater after a loss. Nothing more depressing than watching our football team walking off the field after a blowout with that as a soundtrack.

As it is Thanksgiving, I am grateful for the Marching Illini.
Year in and year out, they are the most valuable players.
