Guess you didn't watch the game. Where were you, watching Frozen 2?When did Kofi get his 5 foul requiring him to sit out the rest of the game? Errr, wait, he didn't. Stop blaming the refs.

Giorgi shouldn't have taken those shots. He wasn't going to get a call no matter what. I wouldn't call him selfish.
Uh, I think we're desperate for a win period, against any kind of real competition. If we are desperate for a win to make the tourney in early December, then we are $#%@ed.
It's game you have to steal - MD was off as much as Miami was on - can't let it slip through your hands
Not going into the game, no, we were not expected to win. Up by 14 at half and led the entire second half with under a minute to go, I expect them to win. Most people at that point, expected them to win.Relax people. We were playing the #3 team on the road. This wasn't a game we were expected to win; in fact we exceeded the expectations going into the game. That being said...TERRIBLE last minute. That timeout call was inexcusable. Not giving up on the season though. Michigan game will be very important.
Frazier can hit shots. I don't like that weave sometimes because all the players become compacted. It doesn't seem like it gets shooters open.On a real note, Cowan shot that 3 to tie from outer space. Truly a circus shot. I believe that what this team sorely lacks is a trustworthy bucket-getter. We have been FAR too turnover this year. I don’t trust anyone In a game-winning situation.
The refs hit us with a magical foul to cost us the game at the end anyways. I fail to see your logic here. What were you going to do? Illinois wasn't going to get a call. The refs would have hit him with a magical foul. The only way for Illinois to score was going to be from the guard position.
To be fair - the players have to execute. We NEVER look to hit cutters. That’s a huge part of this offense. I don’t think this squad gets it. Lots of people have pointed to the incongruity of our recruits vs recruiting to the system. So should he change the system? Maybe. Recruit different players? Maybe. Bottom line is we fought. We guarded and in the end we lost. That happens against good teams on the road. Tough to swallow.Underwood’s so-called great offense with so many options is horrible! Where’s all the wide open guys we were going to see. Why can’t we get simple drives for kick outs like everyone else? Then when we do, Damonte is there and the first thing he wants to do is dribble.... Tired of moral victories...
This isn’t a tear it down football rebuild. With the talent on the roster, Illinois should be ranked and a solid NCAA tournament team.Honestly, it’s time to start asking if Underwood is the right man for the job. It’s year 3. This team should be miles ahead of where they are by now.

Total fouls:Guess you didn't watch the game. Where were you, watching Frozen 2?
Winning this one would’ve negated a really bad Miami loss, so I get the sentiment. Season and tournament hopes are obviously still alive. It’s just not encouraging to watch the same crap happen that we’ve been watching for the last 8-9 years.
I don’t think MD was off. We guarded the hell out of them. It's game you have to steal - MD was off as much as Miami was on - can't let it slip through your hands
