All the bigs we have, not a lick of interior defense. Shooting percentage didn't help a bit either.
Should be obvious to our coach that nothing flows with Tate running the offense. Find a better option, have Malcolm run the point if you're too stubborn to put Lucas in. Do anything, it can't be any worse than this dumpster fire.

I would contend that the poor shooting contributed to the bad defense. This team is terrible about getting back in transition.
I'd put it on Tate, Jcl, and Abrams inability to keep their guards out of the paint

I am just rooting for the young guys to learn, and for Malcolm to increase his job opportunities. It's been said far too many times as a way of mitigating the obvious; Groce is a great guy...he is a bad coach.
I am not happy to see him fail, but I do not feel sorry for him. He makes a butt-load of money, and he is doing a poor job. These young men deserve better teaching.
Hope they can turn it around, but I have no faith that the coaching will allow them to succeed.

Anytime we struggle to shoot we are going to have this kind of result. Our defense is an embarrassment and has gotten worse the longer Groce and his staff have been here.
When we shoot poorly... this is who we are!
I think Maryland just handed everyone the winning game plan... drive to the basket every possession and play defense and you will win.

F across the board. Total suckage. For a team with as much experience as we have, utterly inexplicable. Maryland is hardly the second coming. Ugh!
the only thing that really needs to be said about this game then is....bad basketball.
Teams with good drive-and-kick games (think Indy and UM) have routinely crushed us since Groce got here, so today MD merely served notice that nothing's changed.
As to who we are, the Washington Generals comes to mind.
