I blame CoHawk.... Even 100 years from now, every time the Terps are getting ready to play Illinois, CH's pic from the flight home last year will be placed on the locker room wall to get them fired up :)

Exactly. No more KJ’s. I hope Sarr isn’t KJ 2.0.

I want experienced tough American college players out of the portal before going overseas again.

I don't even know what to type after a loss like that. We played scared the whole game, hesitating or throwing up off-balance shots because we think we're gonna get blocked. Boswell missed some layups again and KJ continued with the ridiculous turnovers (almost all of which felt like they led to fast breaks). Ivisic also committed some absolutely senseless fouls... I wonder about his conditioning and whether he was fouling because he was gassed.

What Maryland and Duke have in common is a top-10 Kenpom defense. The offense looks so stagnant half the time if Will Riley isn't doing something... we can win a shootout but we're gonna go out in the tournament against an older team with a good defense.

I don't have anything bad to say about Morez Johnson... he absolutely battled in day 2 of coming back from his broken wrist. Really hope he is here next year.

Edit to add: Where the heck was the Ivisic passing at the top of the key in this game?? It would have at least drawn one of their bigs out from under the basket.

My power just went off at my house with 3:00 to play. Thank goodness I didn't have to finish that mess.

Last year, at MD. Still, I get you. I live in MD and hate losing to the this much.

To answer the above prompts….

- we got our teeth kicked in
- we suck
- pick any Maryland player
- KJ loves turnovers
- don’t overlook Illinois losing in the first round
- a stiff drink

Is it wrong to hope we stop recruiting internationally?

Maryland reminds you have the Illini team from last year. Older and physical. An Illini team that is SOFT won't never beat a team like Maryland in the tournament. This team lack of physicality and TERRIBLE DEFENSE won't change anytime soon. This is the team chosen by Underwood. The Illini met my goals for this year, they will lose in the first weekend and we all can look forward to the portal.
