I’ll say it.

I don’t see how KJ is a top 5 pick while TSJ sits in the G-League.

Age, potential, sure…I get that. But one guy was a dog / competitor and the other is very laissez faire all too often.
Age for sure. If TSJ was 18, he would've been a top 5 pick in that low-talent draft that was last year. If KJ was 23, he'd probably be around where TSJ was.

With that said, I'd argue no other 18 y/o is doing what he's doing outside of Cooper Flagg. Let's not forget the good that quickly. Has won us a ton of games this year.

I hope we see them again in the BTT and wipe those smiles off their dumb faces. Some of Maryland’s behavior tonight has been complete bush league stuff.
I don't want to see them.again this year, or ever. MD just has our #, more than PSU.

Just too zesty handling the basketball. Too many zesty attempted layups. I don't know how many more layups I can see these guys smoke. It had to be atleast 8 missed layups.

There is plenty of tape of KJ now and good coaching knows how to defend him. He’s having to work harder and is making more freshman mistakes because they have sped him up. Our beloved on the other hand are still unable to stop the high illegal screen and roll. There are a lot of player mistakes and coaching mistakes which equals a 20+ loss. Players and coaches need to take accountability and be better.

Our guard play is not really good right now outside of DGL. Careless turnovers, casual play, missed layups. We have two "sharpshooters" who can't make a wide open three to save their lives, and as a team our shooting is atrocious. Yet, we have an offense that is designed to shoot 35 a game. When they aren't falling, we can't make a layup. We desperately lack toughness. When you let Julian Reese go for 27, welp, don't know what to tell ya. We had a fringe D1 player who should be an off the bench/hit a couple threes guy trying to guard him all night who just got absolutely abused out of the gate. Not really his fault, maybe we should have tried to get someone in Booth's place who could be a backup 5?

Really disappointing given what we saw against Oregon and Penn St, and the near miss against TN. Losses are piling up. We are staring at a 6-8 seed, early exit because we can't string together a few wins. Seriously disappointing given our talent.

Final score is irrelevant. The outcome was decided when it was determined Tomi could not play at full strength. Queen and Reese were toying with us and could have scored 70 if the coach had been smart enough.

This is what I am seeing. Booth had to play early Id you were going to register Ty and Bu did not do it

In case you didn’t see the stat line, 89 points from Twerps starting 5 and 2 from their bench.

Don’t know what Boswell got but so far it was too much

You’re spot on with this. We didn’t bring in the right talent or the right pieces and that’s after having a great season last year where we should’ve capitalized on it. It’s like BU pulled a wool blanket over everyone’s eyes. Even Boswell has been inconsistent.

Well we saw how good we can be earlier this year and now we've seen how bad we can be. I thought we might have a game or two like this but not after we had appeared to be putting things together. Our inexperience has been showing the last couple of games.

We are getting absolutely nothing from our bench outside of DGL …

He’s the only kid who’s got the fire …

Jake Davis tries hard but that’s not good enough to play here …

Carey Booth isn’t good enough to play here … That was a mistake in recruiting …
This is where multiple people redshirting and having an open slot on the roster kills you.
