This game reveals we need a true rim protector to win the BIG games and the reason I always say Tomi is the missing piece for a natty. Morez is great but was mismatched. Maryland had over 60 points in the paint.

It seems like the idea of coaching young and talented teams is exciting to Brad but the reality of this year and 2 years ago didn’t play out great.

Last year we were old and very coachable with absolute dawgs and he loved coaching them. Need to get back to having 7-8 upperclassmen with battle scars in the rotation.

This team is built to shoot the three and we sink or swim with it.

6-28 tonight and I believe that tonight was better than we shot on Sunday.

We are extremely one dimensional. If you take the three away, we will not win. If you take our only post presence away.....it's over. When I saw Ivisic was out.....I had no expectations tonight. The only way we had a chance was to have a 15 - 32 type game.

We simply have no depth on the interior. That was exposed tonight. Morez isn't ready for those minutes and the responsibilities that come with it. He's a freshman. That's expected.

Let's hope that Tomi's 7 day battle with strep(which seems unlikely) is done by Sunday.

100% … It has on every coach … It’s draining …

There is no development anymore … There is no Trent & DMFW & Ayo & Kofi … Where you sprinkle in a Plummer or a Grandison but the core is all back …

Brad has already been told by 2 kids on our team that they’re transferring after the year … Like that’s what CBB has come to …
And there you have it in a nutshell. The college game has been killed for a minor league. The money will eventually dry up, cuz I gotta tell you, fans like me are losing patience.

and it doesn't make sense why he isn't showing the fire because in the presser yesterday he said something to the effect of that it is getting harder and harder for him to handle losses and couldn't shake the USC loss

Brad also said he knew we were going to lose that game during breakfast and went and told Susan it was going to be a rough day …

So it couldn’t have been that hard to shake …

We are getting absolutely nothing from our bench outside of DGL …

He’s the only kid who’s got the fire …

Jake Davis tries hard but that’s not good enough to play here …

Carey Booth isn’t good enough to play here … That was a mistake in recruiting …
What was Morez's issue tonight?

Last year … It clicked partially because we were OLD … Brad likes coaching OLD teams …

We went young with Skyy and Epps and that whole group and it didn’t work … And we went a little bit back towards that this year …

Brad has already been told by 2 kids on our team that they’re transferring after the year … Like that’s what CBB has come to …

And how do you have a desire to coach and play players who have already made that decision?

Bingo … How many of these donors are gonna keep shelling out 500k to a couple million in some cases if you aren’t making Elite 8s and Final 4s every year ???

Best of luck to them. It's worked out great for....one...two if you include CH purely financially.

We had multiple guys sick so I’ll believe that had an effect

I agree, but in this new CBB landscape, I can't see the team having upper classmen players that have been in the program for multiple years anytime soon.

I just can't even fathom this from the players' standpoint. They have every right to decide to transfer after the season, but to make that kind of statement halfway through a season when there is still a whole schedule of meaningful games left to be played makes them look like entitled kids who are throwing a fit because they aren't getting what they want. I don't know how much fault lies with Brad, but he has a seemingly impossible job.

I don't think so.

1)It wouldn't have been a MD layup fest

2)The offense runs through Tomi on the interior and he would have pulled Queen/Reese 20 feet from the hoop.

3) We're not down to getting Booth in the game

4)He can score out of the post and more importantly, pass out of the post.

You just can't lose a guy like that versus a team as physical as MD and think that it's going to go well.
