Does anyone know for sure Lykes got his T after AG brushed by him? I thought I saw the ref T him up prior to that. And then AG just sort of rubbed it in. Kudos to AG for coaxing a T out of him if it happened after the brush.

We're giving kudos to AG for acting like an !!! to the other teams best player, because we couldn't D him up? I'm a big AG fan, but what he did was bush league. It should have embarrassed himself, and gotten him benched. Lets not encourage those types of plays to shut down another teams best player, lets learn some damn defense instead.

After they gave up 35 points they finally went to a zone.

IIRC we didn't go zone until midway through the second half. After we were down 10+ for ~10-15 minutes. Long time to realize there needs to be an adjustment. Just my .02

Even though he was lighting us up, it's entirely possible he was doing it in a less-than-humble manner

If the scenario is correct he got their best player to take a foul on himself simply by a little bump. If you watched Lykes play, he's a bit of a match waiting to be lit and KUDOs to AG for a very small act to light the match and get the foul. Look, we're not talking anything cheap - it was a VERY MINOR bump going down the floor. Many worse things happen during the game and if he did something cheap I wouldn't support it. That bump is no worse than talking trash and AG saw an opportunity to get a reaction - he did.

AG wasn't as I recall even guarding Lykes. It was almost always Ayo, TF or AF not AG. So he wasn't mad he couldn't defend him, he saw an opportunity to get in his head, and he did. If you didn't like what AG did then you must really hate what GB does on the court. BBall is a physical game.

We will have to agree to disagree, what AG did wasn't a basketball play. That's the issue. It was a cheap shot and bush league. Give him a nudge while you're locking him down on d, or driving past him for a layup. Please show me the clip of GB walking up behind an opposing teams player and pushing them during a timeout. I will wait.

As a former player of several sports, I completely disagree. That is the perfect kind of little action to throw a player completely off their game and it is subtle enough for refs to ignore it. GREAT move by Alan.

We will have to agree to disagree - unless I missed something more forceful (and while I usually watch every game at least twice - I couldn't bring myself to watch this one again) I thought I saw just a brush/small bump - nothing other than that. But I really didn't see it as a push. GB does alot of things in the game that if he were not on our team, I'd be pissed - high elbows, etc. In the course of play or not, what he does is much more dangerous than the brush by AG did. But enough convo about that - we'll just disagree about the degree of contact.

That's the difference for me; it wasn't a basketball play. I'm more of a 'dunk on a guy then bump him when you're going back down the court' kind of guy. I don't like that because this dude was murking us we had to resort to pissing him off during a timeout. Lets piss him off in the future with some good defense instead.

You know what else would throw him off his game? Playing decent defense. Not turning it over and giving them easy buckets. Playing good basketball. That's what I tune in to see, not cheap shots to hopefully make a guy do less good against us. We can do that by playing defense. That would be ideal at least.
