I wonder if it were reversed and WMU threw the hail mary..... would they receive another play? I didn't have to wonder long....

I didn’t have to wonder very long either. In fact, I thought of that immediately after the shocking theft on the field occurred.

But after some sober and calm reflection... perhaps we’ve all been too hard on the Refs and Game Officials!

In fact, may they sincerely enjoy all their new clothes and gift cards and cars and the new upscale neighborhoods they’ll all be moving to.

It’s only ‘Fair’, right? "Peace In Our... ’Time’."

I'm watching the Apple Cup game, and at halftime, they explained that the BIG refs had the official time and that they showed video evidence that there was one second left on the clock when the WMU player toughed the ball. However, the player was also in the air, not out of bounds, and a deflection could have been caught for a score--so why does that stop the clock?

Also, all they showed was a computer shot of a clock that still had one second. Does anyone in their right mind not think they could have just created that shot of the clock to save their a**es after an obviously egregious act? Even if the clock we saw was tenths of a second off, the clock read 0:00 when the ball was in the air under the goal post--any tenths would have elapsed prior to the ball being touched or going out of bounds. It reeks of a BIG cover-up.
