Every team has that. Unfortunately we don't have the athletes nor shooters that can get you out of that slump. Personally, If were in a slump and the zone is killing us I would give frazier the green light to do that beautiful jump shot in the lane that is money. Don't know why he doesnt use that more
FYI ... The only issue MS has right now is being able to stay on the floor as he learns how to defend within BUs system.
Offensively he was 2-2 from 3 and 1-2 from inside the arc.
Has to cut down on the TOs obviously but he is a freshmen.
When he learns to play without fouling and can stay on the floor his offensive output is going to be outstanding.

Agree. Smith can't seem to win right now - drive the basket and it's an offensive foul. On defense he can't catch a break. Refs are making it unusually hard for him, and yes, I do believe that.

He leans a lot and initiates...he needs to work more on the floater and then some of the physical calls will go his way. Right now that's all the refs see...a bull in the china shop, got to protect the china!
It kinda reminds me how the officials had it out for Black his freshman year

Maybe we should stop thinking the problem is as simple as starting Frazier, and look at this team as a whole.

He’s not a “secret weapon” anymore. The caliber of teams lately have been tougher and more athletic than earlier in the season. AJ needs to be more active finding his shot, since he isn’t athletic enough to create his own. Also our guards need to facilitate and figure out how to break down defenses better. Wrecklessly driving to the basket will only get you so far.
