Should be suspended for season. They were separated and he came back. Whether or not you buy Gard's explanation for the time out, doesn't matter. Since the Big Ten commissioner is an empty suit, not sure what happens. I can't remember the last time a coach punched another in public view. Chaney and Calipari, but not sure anything connected.

I guess the punch was not at Gard, hard to tell. Point remains the same.

I personally think Howard should be fired. If I assaulted someone while on the job my employer wouldn’t think twice about it. No excuse for what he did.

I also don’t want to think too hard about “coach of underachieving Michigan team gets fired right before the tournament” as a potential storyline.

I’d be surprised if he gets fired. Should be a suspension, but probably not much. Most will be just to end of conference season. He’ll be back by B1G tournament time. Warren has no spine.

It was Mac Etienne. He was arrested, but I don't think that was a PAC12 action. The student who was spat on elected to press charges. That's typically the only way someone will end up arrested in these situations. If the person who was hit doesn't want to do anything, there's little reason for the state to pursue it.

Yeah, I don't think the Wisconsin assistant will want to press charges. But he certainly would be justified in doing so.

Safe to say Howard won’t be on the sidelines when UI goes there in a week. Think players from both teams will be suspended? There were a few punches thrown around.

My expectations. Season suspension for Howard. 5 games for the 2 Mich players and 5 Games for number 0 on Wis. 1 game for Gard. What will actually happen probably 3 games for Howard 1 for the players and 0 for GG. Very curious to see how this plays out.
