Either by Nov. 7th, or 13th.Anyone know when the Michigan game time will be announced? Just bought tickets
My guess would be we get the Big Noon gameAnyone know when the Michigan game time will be announced? Just bought tickets
Very likely. Penn State plays Rutgers, OSU plays Maryland. My guess would be we get the Big Noon game

If we hold up our end of the bargain, I think for sure. Bedlam may be the toughest competition, but Oklahoma STINKS. If you have a ranked on ranked matchup its hard to pass up on that.Very likely. Penn State plays Rutgers, OSU plays Maryland.
Yep. Michigan is guaranteed elite ratings, and (IMO) Illinois is a “high ceiling” draw. We’ve historically drawn as well as way more successful programs when we finally get a good slot … huge state, huge alumni base, makes sense. If we hold up our end of the bargain, I think for sure. Could be wrong but doing some research I don’t think Fox necessarily gets top pick every week but they switch off with ABC. And since Fox has first pick overall and always picks OSU-Michigan with that pick, I think that week would actually be ABC first pick. Which would most likely mean a 2:30 pm game if it is the top billing big ten matchup. With that same reasoning, if Purdue-Illinois is really for the division, good chance that’s the big noon fox pick unless they want a bigger market. My guess would be we get the Big Noon game
I’ll be there!Side not(kind of)….anyone planning on going to Ann Arbor?
I will be flying into Ann Arbor on my way back to Chicago for Thanksgiving. Looking forward to a long hungover Amtrak ride across the state of MichiganSide not(kind of)….anyone planning on going to Ann Arbor?
Working on it.Side not(kind of)….anyone planning on going to Ann Arbor?
Have a hunch that big noon kickoff is heading to Ann Arbor for the game.Hey all. Happy game day.
I have a couple quick questions if anyone could help me out..
My wife and I are heading to Vegas in two weeks to watch the Bball team. I'd obviously like to catch the Illini/Michigan game on Saturday. Does anyone know when they release the game time for that?
Also - I hear Circa is the spot to watch a game. Anyone know if reservations are required/suggested?
Thanks,
Go Illini
Ill be there all dressed in orangeSide not(kind of)….anyone planning on going to Ann Arbor?
Have heard awesome things about Circa, both on and off this site. Unfortunately it’s about as far from the arena as you can get (if you are staying close to the arena , as I am). I will prob just look for a casino sports book closer.Hey all. Happy game day.

I'm almost 31 (December), and my wife is 33 ... so I think we are your target demographic!I'll be in Champaign with my wife for the game. Was thinking of finding a campus bar to watch at so she can get some of the campustown experience. Any particularly good bars to watch at these days... where a couple of young 30-somethings won't stick out too badly?
They had a fire at the Illini Inn a few days ago. Not sure that it's open.I'm almost 31 (December), and my wife is 33 ... so I think we are your target demographic!
At this point, given how much Campustown has changed, we strongly prefer Downtown Champaign. Its redevelopment over the last several years has been amazing, and the general "vibe" of restaurants with more character, breweries/pubs and the "pedestrian mall-ish" area by Blind Pig and Cowboy Monkey just give it a much more fun vibe for me.
With that said, I'd honestly suggest Legends. It's big, it's fun and yet it's not going to be TOO "college-y" (assuming you are looking to avoid an environment too much like Red Lion, lol...). I have not been to the new Kam's and I have never been to Illini Inn, for the record. Joe's is okay if you're looking for a bit more of a party atmosphere. Brothers used to be good.
I wonder what the odds were in 07 at the shoe for Juice and the Zooker?ESPN only gives us a 11% chance to win. I'd be playing the ROCKY theme song ,starting now to keep the motivation flowing . I would have them listen to the Winston Churchil speech in the darkest days of WW2 where he said " we will fight them on the beaches, fight them in the fields, fight them in the cities. We will never surrender! " When I was in high school , a big bully decided to attack me. As he was pushing me backwards into a locker, I decided I was at least going to get in one punch before he beat me. When he slammed me into a closed locker, I bounced off it and took out both his front teeth with 1 punch. He was so stunned , he didnt say anything and just walked away. Im sure there are other good examples.
Working on making it more like the original Inn?They had a fire at the Illini Inn a few days ago. Not sure that it's open.
Yep, love the exposure ... let's use it as an opportunity for another "coming out party" and get the upset!Interesting. No Big Noon Kickoff, but maybe College Gameday is still in play? Its not surprising this game is on ABC, but still nice to lock in such a high-profile slot!
