Michigan State 70, Illinois 69 POSTGAME

feeling sick for Ayo. no weight on leg not a good sign. Kofi's only responsibility on last play was to get rebound, not to go for block - it was basically a pass to Tilman. but really proud of the boys for comeback

Ayo, you are the heart and soul of this team, I hope you're ok and we appreciate you.

Guess we'll need Trent to be the man again for the rest of the season. Hope he remembers what that's like. Get better soon, Ayo.

Do they track plus minus? Cause there is a player that would have a staggering one tonight.

Perfectly executed Illini comeback. If only the entire team didn't fan to Winston on his weak drive that's a rebound or a Tillman foul. Here's to hoping AD hits the floor again this season.

Slipping to los, no shot at all e and possiblyAyo being hurt really sucks. I wish AG would have boxed out but he attacked the ball along with Kofi.. All in all it sucks but most importantly Ayo needs to be ok.

Play first half like 2nd half and we win by the 20 I asked for. Where’s the urgency?! The want to for 40 minutes?!

I'm so sick about Ayo right now.

Also. This was not a fake rally. By definition you don't take the lead in a fake rally. This was a real rally where we were winning the game with under 10 seconds left. Hats off to MSU. Too many mistakes early.

Illinois rallied, had some setbacks, and then rallied again. Nothing fake about it. We've seen some rallies where there's like 10 minutes left and the rally dies, but this was fought every second.
