What’s his buyout?
Thinking Brad reached his ceiling last year.I don’t want to hear about this team’s ceiling anymore. I want Brad to fix the damn floor…because its sinking into the basement.
I want to know where Whitman stands on all this. Is he even remotely close to considering a change?Give Sean Miller or Chris Beard our NIL and watch them go to WORK …
Brad has lost more assistant coaches to lateral moves more than any other coach I can think of. How many coaches have left for non-head coaching positions? How many players and assistant coaches did he run off last year? This does feel like a Calipari situation, at least 2, maybe 3 NBA level talents on the floor and they can't scheme one basket in 7 minutes. I'm all for one and done, but someone like Coleman could really help this team.
Post game Brad is acting like he can’t figure out why we settle on offense. Putting it on the players. Then freaking sit the ones doing wrong.
We have 2, possibly 3 (with an outside shot of 4) NBA talent guys on this team. The bench was a strength early. This is 10000000% a coaching and developmnet issue.I leave this question to the group. At what point do we admit that we overrated our talent, outside of Morez and DGL, we have no athleticism and we have no depth?
I despise the three point barrage like everyone else, but 4 of your last 29........that's 1000000% on the players.
KJ, our lottery pick, with another 5/15 performance. Ivisic was BRUTAL tonight.
I get the Ben thing, I get the Brad thing, I get not liking the assistants, but when do we look at the roster and say..... they're just not what we hoped. We tried to put an entire roster together in three months....we have a decent team, but not a particularly good one.
Early in the year, when we were torching nets and winning, it was great. This was the philosophy going in. One in, four out, shoot 35% and hit the final four.
There were a LOT of us who know what live by the three and die by the three looks like. This is it.
I look up and down that stat sheet and outside of Morez.....nobody played well.
And it's the head coach's job to stop that. Lol. And Brad hasn't done it.Post game Brad is acting like he can’t figure out why we settle on offense. Putting it on the players. Then freaking sit the ones doing wrong.
He got so lucky that Domask exceeded all expectations and somehow managed to be a great playmaker while played out of positionThinking Brad reached his ceiling last year.
Why does Brad have to only have a 7 man rotation? Use your players! I thought we had a deep bench with all this talent? I don’t get it.I agree that Illinois looked gassed in the latter part of the game. MSU runs actual sets which force the defenders to fight through multiple picks. I felt this took a big toll on the 7 man rotation.
Big time games are generally against big time coaches who know how to game plan around piorly-coached teams.Big time games …
We just crap the bed …
More like 4 or 5 to be honest. Now some of it is just awful luck (as much as we don't want to recognize). Right off the top of my head I can remember 2 or 3 literal layups that just popped out. And then Ivisic misses a one and one.
But man... something is just broken for that to happen...
