Brad ain’t going anywhere at this point unless he wants to coming off an E8.

But let’s just say: we certainly aren’t going to keep sinking all this money into a team/staff that continuously is inventing ways to be bad.

Bingo … And Whitman has heard this from many people …

They want change …

I don’t expect Whitman to go in and fire Brad … But I don’t think he’d make some crazy offer to keep him if Brad had another offer somewhere else …

I think this is unlikely to be the case. Brad Underwood has made clear what HIS expectations are: championships. The record is thin in this regard, though not even close to bare.

I think it is entirely reasonable to think about moving on to a coach who might do better. If there in fact is one available.

I know everyone talks about the obvious with our shot selection but I'm so sick of seeing teams get to their exact desired spot while they're on offense. Yes we want to force long 2s but sometimes the guy is a mid-range killer or sometimes he wants to draw you in just enough to throw a lob to the back side. I feel like were last in the league in point allowed to alley-oops.

Brad is the 8th highest paid coach in college basketball. There's just no excuse for not making adjustments and not scoring in the last 8 minutes while in bonus with this roster. What a shocker that jacking 3's and having people stand around the 3 line watching KJ/Will and Tomi try to play 2 man ball doesn't always work.

The dribbling up the floor/jacking up a 3 has to stop. I don't understand when we have been horrible all year, how it can just be allowed to continue. Can't remember the last time I was this frustrated with the team.

I like to keep the conversations private per Josh’s wishes … But I will say this … Josh always has a list … And he’s always wanting to know who would be interested …

Wait until Morez, DGL, and Tre enter the portal. Next year should be fun. I'd be shocked if any one of them stay for this mess.
Of course, Brad will just reload. You know, like he did this year.

Josh is unbelievably level-headed, intelligent, and always seems to have high expectations and a detailed and thoughtful plan for how he does things. Josh will give you everything you need to be successful as a coach here and will back you through and through... But he expects Big Ten Championships, NCAA sweet 16's, elite 8's and a chance a National Championships.

The hubris of Brad to again bring up national championship ambitions and to constantly say we won't back down from anyone, we will play the best, blah blah blah.. And then poop the bed when we do play them (see Loyola, see Uconn, see MSU tonight). As a fan I want to vomit hearing my coach talk all this stuff and then get outscored by 18 in the 2nd half at home with the amount of talent we have.

I know BU hates zone but at least show it when the guards are killing ys and the guards can't shoot the 3. Woodson did that and MSU shot 38% and got beat at home by Indiana. We could not get a stop and yet BU didn't even try the zone one time! Indiana and Woodson did and I bet other coaches will too. At least if the D is struggling like ours was stopping them getting in the lane
So I just thought of this:

Yeah he hates zone. But by almost always picking one guy to slack off of, he’s basically playing a 1 man zone.

And having Ben and Jake guard Fears was basically the same idea too. Might as well put a real zone in there.

Owned it more than our head basketball coach. A GREAT kid.

Pathetic.

Such a shame we’re wasting one of the best talents to ever wear the O and B.

This is what ticks me off the most !!!!!!!!

I want Brad to own this 💩

Admit Tyler and Hamer aren’t getting it done …

Admit he screwed up in recruiting Ben, Tre, Booth …

Admit he didn’t make adjustments !!!!!

Just own it !!!!!!!!

We will do like Illinois always does - wait to long to pull the trigger. We will need to languish in this for at least 2 more years. Good thing is there is no more rebuilding, it’s just refinancing now.

I doubt this. Josh Whitman strikes me as someone who plans to win, and a coach too stubborn to figure things out isn't going to last. Josh has already replaced the women's basketball coach he hired, and the football coach he hired. Men's basketball isn't untouchable.

At this point, I think Brad is simply an above average coach who was good enough to lift our program out of the dumpster and then had his profile raised when NIL became a thing and our boosters could more directly and legitimately get involved. But I am also convinced that he has essentially hit his ceiling unless he has a come to Jesus moment over his coaching staff and decision-making.

Underwood is showing everyone how you cut off your nose to spite your face.

What happens next is the money dries up for ol’ Brad cause he’s proving he can’t win the top end games. That is what will eventually take for Whitman to make a move.

There it is. Going by what's been implied... if Ben gets benched, he could respond by putting Brad's career on the ropes with one tweet sharing his NIL agreement.
