Games like this are why you have to win the games you're supposed to win. We all knew that, for any number of reasons, this would be a major toss-up game. You just HAVE to win all of your conference home games and road games against decidedly inferior competition.

That T on Brad was incredibly soft. Izzo is more heated than that on quite literally every possession. And he was completely in the right. There's no world you grant that time out. Sparty didn't come close to having actual possession.

I'm so proud of how we fought, but so mind-numbingly frustrated at how many things had to go just right for Sparty to eek that thing out. They're a paper tiger and sooner or later, they're going to get exposed.

I think Underwood's T helped get us back in the game. We were able to do more on the defensive end. But it came too late. Should’ve come around the 8
Minute mark.

Folks - there’s nothing to analyze other then the referees.

The Big Ten is an embarrassment. Izzo is washed up. MSU is a fraud. It’s incredible in 2025 with the technology that we have that we continue to allow this garbage. Enough is enough. Get rid of these garbage referees that make it about themselves. We need radical change. Everyone knows Illinois is 15 points better than MSU. Nothing more to analyze. Really a pathetic performance by MSU at home with 3 additional players on the court and 2 key IL players in foul trouble.

There's less than a second to go and he'sfalling out of bounds. You do whatever you can to win the game. You don't give him credit for both the insanely good miss, the incredible effort to get the rebound, and you criticize him for shooting a shot with the clock expiring? Come the hell on.

Hope we get a few calls February 15th. Won't have any members of this horrendous crew though. Hopefully never again on the road.

-This very talented team is a work in progress but it IS progressing
-Morez continues to grow into a beast
-KJ hopefully learning for the tourney that as the star scorer you’ve got to play smarter.
