To #10 on the road. We’re gonna be alright if at least one of those things isn’t true. The fact they all coincided in the same night was rough.

Tonight was to learn and grow. We own our destiny still. Win out, we win it all. Please all things that are fair let us get similar calls against Wisconsin, Indiana, & Michigan at home.

Yes I am real. This is every bit as bad as the KJ game last year, actually worse. The only thing that can even come close is the Ohio State games with Kofi (in the last 5-6 years).
Enjoy your Saturday night young man

Andrej and Tomi both bumped his body while Fears was shooting. Same play over and over again with the same result. Should be hard hedging on Fears in those possessions to get it out of his hands because he absolutely torched us.

Timeout, absolutely. But if Z doesn't shoot that we don't get a shot off. Z made the right play. We has no other choice left. Should've called timeout when Brad saw the defense for MSU was there

I mean TSJ made a living doing that for us. Get a head of steam in transition and create contact.

If Fears had more of an outside shot I think he could be very Chris Paul like. His handle is great and he’s always in control and can get to where he needs too. To get 15 assists on a team with no scorers is impressive. The trip was dirty, but overall he’s impressive given his limitations and his teammates limitations

Silver lining is that we didn't get anyone hurt or knocked out for a few games or even the rest of the year. That was my biggest fear going into this game.

MSU was the better team tonight. They crushed us on the glass and they exploited our one weakness when Kylan is off the floor. The whining about Fears refelects poory on us, not MSU. It was a basketball game not a drama based on a childish play that Fears made against Minnesota. The play in question clearly wasn't a trip and that was one of the best B1G officiating crews. Just once, would like to see our fan base have Illinois play poorly (and tonight that was more a function of MSU's rebounding) and not try to find fault. MSU played better than we did. Doubt that happens again if we see them in the tourney.
