We all know how they didn’t see it. The conference just won’t ever want to admit it.

Jeffrey Anderson did his job, and he did it well.

I really feel sorry for Fears in the light of him not having to resort to thug antics since he has a lot of talent....but he chooses the low road. He gets no respect from me....he belongs at Cheatigan. There is a huge difference between being tough and being a thug. I truly wonder if Izzo knows the difference. Keaton is as tough as they come...but low life stuff is not in him.

Horrific beat if you had Illinois +2.5…if refs call nothing at the end of regulation you win

When the clock strikes march, everyone will be saying, “go B1G!”.

No, f’ that. I want Illinois to win, and I want the rest of them to lose, especially MSU. I hope they embarrass themselves in the first round.

Keep playing like this and we’ll lose to IU and Wisconsin. Really disappointing effort tonight. Refs stunk too, but that’s to be expected in East Lansing

You're right we can't win them all but at least can we have referees that will call the game fairly? We can swallow a loss if it's a good loss.. I think if the fouls that were committed on Illinois were actually called, we would have won this game.

Tough loss. This was not one of our best efforts but MSU is tough to beat at home. Fears was the difference in the game for them. This is where we really missed Bos and his defense and leadership. Fast break points a killer. Hopefully we learned from this loss and turn it into a positive down the road.

Tom Izzo is a basketball terrorist.

They came out and outrebounded the tallest team in America, credit to them.
No credit to them. Fears got away with an intentional trip and homecooked refs let it go. We missed open shots and still should have won. Wagler had arguably his only off game of the season and we still were in it. MSU lost a questionably good non-starter guard, we were without our senior leader and best defender in the B1G (possibly the country), and they still barely won on their homecourt. No credit to MSU.

Time out helps MSU substitute - which we didn't want. Also the coaching you give is that even if you turn the ball over - foul. We could only score two points.

Alot to look over with this one...

Yes Keaton was bad...you dont hit 3's thats one thing, but it was the first game in which I thought he forced it too much. They were helping but not fully blitzing...but when he drive they would fully commit 2 guys on him. Honestly, it was a great defensive gameplan

Hes going to need to learn from this and figure out how to adjust. I think it was just Keaton's off night.

Our lack of athleticism hurt. Not having Boswell to hound Fears really hurt.

I despise Fears...I understand he is good, he is smart offensively and he killed us around screens and us not being smart and fouling.

But he is a dirty f*cking player...plain and simple. If someone "accidently" got him with a solid elbow in the jaw...wouldn't mind it.
Leave it to scUM! I have a feeling Fears will retaliate with a "groin" shot, just to finally get the F2 he deserves multiple times over...

Worst game we played. Out rebounded by 10. Effort was horrible tonight. We played scared against a team that can't shoot.

I certainly won’t cheer for MSU in the tournament. I am tired of what Izzo is doing to basketball. Brutal to watch. And terrible that the conference officiating allows it. Hope they flame out in R1.

I take a more split approach. I'll root against Michigan, Michigan St., Purdue, but I'll still root for teams like Nebraska and Wisconsin.
