Yes, I think this game will be somewhat like the Nebraska game was for us. A learning experience. The Keaton hype train was due for some uphill grade. Keaton didn't play off two feet at all tonight - think that might have helped to mix in.Our rebounding and several other things weren’t good enough to win this one, and the refs were characteristically bad. However, if Keaton even goes 2/15 from the field, we win in regulation. I am optimistic he learns and grows from this, and we’re better off for it in a month. We are very good, even without Keaton contributing more than he did tonight … but we aren’t elite.
Onward and upward.
We could afford to lose this one, but have to beat MI and the rest.
And yes, Fears is a punk and I about threw up having to listen to the broadcast praise him at the end of the game, but to the winner goes the spoils.
