They are a veteran team only in age. Look at how the home games against Nebraska and Indiana ended. A veteran team plays more consistently. This team is not consistent. They're only consistent at being inconsistent. It's too late in the season for excuses.
plus 1 -- a team of veterans more so than a veteran team

I also am sick and tired of Domask being the only option bringing the ball up the floor ... Keep the defense guessing ... Hawkins ... DGL ... Ty ... Throw different looks at them ... Domask dribbles up and just tosses it high to Coleman every freaking time ... Hoggard figured it out ... Turnover and the game is over ...
This. We ran the same clear out, same side, same entry to Coleman over and over. To think that the hall of fame opposing coach isn't going to adjust to that is just silly.

Definitely not Ty, definitely not Hawkins, definitely not Harmon, definitely not Guerrier, definitely not Goode.

That's not really TSJ's game and I feel like that would be asking a lot of him and taking something away from what makes him effective?

He can't both be leading the runout threatening to take the top off the defense AND be the guy collecting the ball, those are mutually exclusive.

Domask has played that role shockingly well all year. Not today.
Want me to make a compilation of Domask either getting his pocket picked, bouncing it off his foot or making a horrible first pass? It’ll take a while cause that’s a lot of clips, but Ty and Hawkins have both done much better jobs bringing the ball up the court and initiating offense.

I had us losing this one before it even started. That being said, the way we lost the game was very frustrating. Hopefully we can finish 2nd in the big and at least split our road games. Starts with SCUM at home. Gotta have that one!

Well, we all wanted change on the offensive end last year and we got it ... Geoff is helping Tyler but Tyler is running that show strategically ...
We would have needed Sigmund Freud as offensive coordinator to fix last years problems. Tyler is doing a good job on O this year with the limitations we have (no true Point). Just was unaware he was calling the shots offensively this year. The D has to change and quick. Did Hammer run D to start the year? If he did not sure why he is trying to fix/change what wasn't broke.

I was very vocal about him and one other guy when the announcement was made that we could add 2 more assistant coaches ...

Brad promoted Hamer and his kid ... Which to be fair ... Tyler has done a good job ...

I would also pay an absurd amount of money to get Gentry back ... FWIW ...
Before today, I was not aware that our defense is being run by a grad assistant, and our offense by our youngest, 1st year assistant coach, who happens to be the son of the head coach. If this is really the case, it is frankly EMBARRASSING. What in the world? What supposedly top level program gives such critical responsibilities to rookie staff members?

The first half of the season, when our defense was considered lock solid and really a core strength of the team, seems so long ago. Something needs to change in terms of these responsibilities. I have been the director of a high profile organization, and would never even consider anything like this. Sorry to be so blunt but our defense in particular has just taken a nosedive.

Step back threes and threes off the dribble aren't highlight plays? Beilein flat out said we settled for ill advised
quick threes and pull ups. But if you feel TSJ taking 9 or 10 threes a game is playing to his strengths I have a feeling Beilein and I certainly disagree with you. With in the flow of the offense is fine but off the dribble early in the clock when other things are working effectively isn't ideal.

Hamer is not a grad assistant ... He is a full-time assistant coach ...
