Speaking of adjustments. Domask & Hoggard was a tough matchup for Domask.

Making an adjustment should have been immediately recognized and implemented.

Not the best game for Domask but hardly a horrible game. 13 points/4 rebounds and 2 (assists, turnovers and blocks)

Like I said...not a bad loss on paper. I agree, they have to figure some things out by March though.
Can't call it a bad loss. A sad loss and a discusting loss. Don't forget MSU was rated 4 at the beginning of the year, the coach has made 25 consecutive tournaments and they were playing in East Lansing.

I have seen it called a couple of times this year. The one missed on Rodgers dunk attempt was about as egregious as it gets. So there's that.
Watched the game again

I think there were 3 goaltending reviews that should have happened. Refs reviewed one today in the NW PSU game. If one of those go our way MSU probably wouldn’t have gone on their runs

The final 6 minutes we missed wide open 3s also there was a foul on one of the rebounds that they got that didn’t get called

Turnovers at the end sealed the outcome. Unacceptable

We normally don’t foul and foul trouble affected how we play

MSU got some favorable calls down the stretch and we couldn’t draw them

They made clutch free throws and Goode missed a one and one

Lots of small errors and poor execution to win a road game. We lost the game in hat we should have won

What the hell are two graduate assistants doing setting strategy for the offense and defense? What are the assistant coaches doing? Little beyond recruiting? Is this arrangement common at this level? Doesn't seem to make sense. And what makes us believe Tyler is qualified to be on the staff other than being the coach's son?
Hey let’s not discredit Hamer. Just a few years ago he was the video coordinator for the Indiana fever.

We should spend the next month getting Morretti ready to assume more point guard duties. Not ideal but it’s our only hope of addressing pg problem in the post season. If we just keep going with the same 7 or 8 guys we’ve been using, i think we all know the manner in which this season will end. We saw it today,
Morretti is not the answer.

Its which of these 7-8 guys are in at which times, and not having Ty Rodgers on the court in the final 5 minutes is hurting us.

Well they are assistant coaches not graduate assistants. But now that you have 5 coaches you can have the 2 of them have their hands more involved in out offense and defense without having to worry about the opponent scout like the other 3 do. So when it was just 3 assistants they rotate the opponent scout each game. And they still do that without having to deep dive into offense and defense of your own team as well. They are still involved with our strategies of both. As for Tyler being in staff I’m actually glad he is after being against the hire initially. He’s a really smart offensive coach. Also if you want to know who has the scout for the game look at whoever is sitting next to Brad. (Out of TA, Geoff and Chester)

What happened to the great defensive team that so many people on here kept talking about? This appears to be another one of Brad's teams that crash and burn in the 1st or 2nd round of the tournament.

Thanks for the explanation, but the issue still seems to be whether the two young guys have as much or more influence in certain areas than the veteran coaches
