There are few games this year that I am looking forward to watching more than the MIZNOZ game. I see that it is now scheduled for 7pm on Saturday 12 December but I don’t see What tv network is broadcasting on this site or fightingillini.com. Anyone know which of the many networks will be broadcasting this great rivalry game? ESPN? Espn2? ESPNU? Fox? FS1? FS2? BTN? SEC?

According to this article, it will be broadcast on SEC Network. Don't know if that's been finalized and if that will be the only viewing option on gameday.

The two programs have agreed to square off on campus at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Mo., after Missouri won the broadcasted coin flip Thursday night. The television designation for the game will be SEC Network and the tip time will be decided at a later date.

Two big wins for the Tigers to start the season --- by 27 over Oral Roberts and an upset of #21 Oregon on a neutral court. We all know this game is going to be a lot more difficult than we want.
I was there and didnt understand how we got outplayed last year, especially considering how we played and they played the rest of year. I think this probably registered as a "bad loss" for us in the tournament panels' eyes....it was the most frustrating and disappointing game of last year for me.
All that said, If we dont "own" Mizzou this year, I will be extremely frustrated. Last two years it seems this game means more to them than us.

That article is over a month old. SEC network lists Auburn at Mississippi State (football). Both the Illinois and Missouri schedules show radio only.
Last year on the SEC Network only was bad enough. Never thought I’d see the day where you couldn’t watch the Braggin’ Rights/Border War game somewhere.

Ken Pom's FanMatch doesn't show a network either.
They shouldn't be allowed to host if this is how they treat the game.
Another reason to hate Miznoz

How can this game not be on TV? Is it being televised locally or in stl area?

Sec network will have college football Saturday night as that is all they care about in the south. The postponements from earlier this year come into play here. I wonder if they will carry the Illinois game on an alternate sec network channel? Otherwise one of the greatest non conference rivalry traditions wont get televised? That would just be ridiculous. Can’t the big ten network step in if sec declines? ESPN used to televise this game. I see they have college football on ESPN and ufc on ESPN2 so no go there.

Well, this STL article from four days ago calls the game "must-watch TV." Hoping that means the writer knows something is in the works (but perhaps not yet finalized).

Football game is at 6:30...is that time for our game?
SEC network is affiliated with ESPN.....maybe ESPN3?

As of now, the SEC website's Network page shows the following for Saturday programming--

11 am - Football - Georgia at Mizzou
3 pm - Football - Tennessee at Vanderbilt
6:30 pm - Football - Auburn at Mississippi State

Lots of nonconference basketball games scheduled on SEC Network+, but it definitely looks like football rules the roost on the main channel (understandably so for their conference's audience). They might be waiting it out to see if any of these games have COVID issues, but I'm not sure there will be a viewing spot on the SEC Network for our game.

Has anybody seen anything about tv for the Missouri game on tiger boards? Anyone with illinois athletic department connections hear anything? Hard to believe that the number 6 team in country playing a power 5 team would not be on TV.

Mark Smith has had a great start to the season, averaging 18 ppg and shooting 53% (!) from 3.

Doesn't change the fact that he's softer than baby poo but man, I REALLY hope we can shut him down on Saturday and win in a blowout.

^^^ nevermind they fixed it :)

Anywho, looks like all the usual TV networks are booked up at game time, all except ESPN2 which I'm guessing they'll find a football game to add last-minute. I don't know what's going on with the broadcast of this game, hope it's available on some platform. Go Illini

So....who would ESPN, Big Ten network, or the SEC network talk with about the possibility of broadcasting this game.....Missouri???......would Illinois have any input in the awarding broadcasting rights??.....really hard to believe that someone wouldn't want to pick this game up....would think it would be pretty attractive for sponsors to jump on this

My guide shows Big Ten with 4 total channels with 3 available and SEC with 2 total channels with 1 available.....
