It’s odd. I believe the tv channel usually dictates the timing.
I would guess SEC network has rights.
I would have guess this was discussed during the coin toss hour???

There are few games I look forward to more than Braggin' Rights in ANY year. Such is the life of a Metro East native (albeit part of the diaspora).

Even as a non-Metro East fan (born in Peoria, grew up in Iowa City, now live in Chicago), this is usually the biggest game of the year for me. Given Indiana's deranged obsession with Purdue and Kentucky, Iowa's multiple rivalries with Wisconsin/Minnesota/Iowa State and Northwestern's usual suckiness, I long ago adopted Mizzou as my most hated rival.

If Mizzou isn't going to get this game on TV I have to question Illinois' decision to allow the game location (and TV rights) to be decided by a coin-toss. It's absolutely absurd if this game doesn't get aired on a national network. I would think the B10 should demand the rights to broadcast it on their network if Mizzou isn't putting it on the SEC network. At the very least they could just put up a youtube live stream of the game.

My bad, that looks like just their conference schedule. So still no official word about Saturday.

I would guess SEC network has rights since home game, but on neutral site who was the original home team?? Feel like last year was on sec network?? But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe it was ESPN2.

maybe they are waiting for any potential sport cancellations? Then adjust channel/timing?

There's gotta be something in the works still. Article from Friday:
Missouri men's basketball is scheduled to tip off against Illinois at 7 p.m. next Saturday at Mizzou Arena for the annual Braggin' Rights game.

The Tigers are hosting this year's edition after winning a special coin toss last month.

The game will be played without fans in attendance. Television information will be announced at a later date.

I wonder if Miznoz fans are freaking out about this on their tiger board or if they don't care. I dislike Missouri but this game really does have a lot of intrigue and storylines with Smith Tilmon and Pickett to go along with the tradition and the fact both teams are pretty good this year. This is a much more appealing tv game than many of the major vs patsy games going on in non conference

I don't know if they're freaking out, but there is definitely chatter on their board about whether the game will be televised. And I think the feeling is mutual that not televising the game would be a huge screw-up by someone.

I agree 100% !! I have been calling some of the ACC numbers available trying to find info on where this game is going to be shown. Just making sure they are aware of the viewing audience of the St Louis and Chicago areas while also mentioning the rest of the country will be viewing in to see these top 2 teams and their narrative.

When you say "ACC" numbers, what do you mean?

I can assure you guys that the game will be televised in some shape or form. We're a top 10 team going against a rival P5, come on now.
