I am just a big fan of getting "let the top seed pick their opponent" in the sports bloodstream.

It would be good in MLB, but it would be GREAT in the NBA playoffs and the CFP.

Enhancing the reward for the top seeds on the one hand, but creating bulletin board material and natural drama on the other.

Rays have the tying run on second, 2 out. At bat is the man who led all of MLB in BA with runners in scoring position. Runner on second gets thrown out trying to steal third. End of inning. WTH?

Never make last out at 3rd, one of baseball's biggest idioms. Maybe hit and run on, but why. It is called scoring position for a reason.

Rays need to win all 3 in the JuiceDome if they are gonna have a chance .

I’d rather it be the Dodgers than the Brewers. Every day, all day. At least Cubs fans can rationalize them winning since they have the highest payroll. Can’t rationalize a small market team in your team’s division that just ran through the league. As a Cubs fan, this angers me more than if the Dodgers won 20 consecutive championships.

IMHO this is a WAKE UP!!!!!! for the Cubs and everyone else. The Dodgers were just an excuse. 2 well-run teams faced off in the World Series. What's your excuse Cubbies?
