Was lucky enough to meet him 10 years ago. Was a intern in the front office of a minor league baseball team. His grandson was playing a tournament in the stadium. He came to watch him play and we set him up in the press box so he wouldn't be bothered and it was easy to get in and out. I got the lucky job of making sure he and his wife were taken care of all day. Between games his wife asked if we could turn on a TV in the press box and if we had ESPN Classic. We did and I tuned it on. I didn't realize they were replaying one of his fights with Frazier. She set Ali up in a chair in front of the TV and he got in the best boxing stance he could while sitting down. I watched a round of the fight with him, and for the entire round, he mimicked his every movement that was on TV. His movements were only a inch or 2, but in his mind he knew every second of that fight and was going though it in his mind. One of the coolest moments of my life.
