Usually with Charo and Dean Martin onstage. Those were really weird shows.
I remember when they had the Parade All American's on TV show's .....I just can't remember what the show's were.....................LOL......I really really can't...

I recall Forrest Gump going to an All Amercian reception at the White House in 1962, drinking like 6 Dr Peppers, and then having to pee real bad
Indeed, I do as well as the playboy All American teams.

when I entered Illinois in 1965, Butkus had graduated (?) but they still had Grabowski and Archie Minor as pre season first string all- Americans and PB had picked The Illini as Number one in the nation.

We finished 6-4. Unfortunately that was the best record in my 5 years there. The last was 0-10.

I'm apparently an idiot. Early in the first quarter of the Indiana game, Devon made a fantastic play. Can't recall exactly what it was, but he celebrated to a degree I found excessive. Lots of grumpy-old-man muttering ensued: "Keep your head in the game"; "Save the celebrating for the final gun"; "You're gonna get penalized for that"; "There is no 'I' in TEAM." Well, not that last one, but I was well down that "get off my lawn!!" road.

Then on the succeeding play the IU QB went right back at him and burned him for something like 20 yards. I rolled my eyes and thought "Man, this is going to be a long season with this secondary."

I am lmao at myself. What a stud he turned out to be this season. A guy who didn't pick up football until he was a junior (?) in HS, and he ends up a consensus AA his junior year of college.

Astounding. Mad props to him and the coaching staff. I'll look forward to watching him on Sundays (and Mondays and Thursdays) for many seasons to come.

Ya know, people love to point out no I in team but, for crying out loud, there is "me".
