The Hawks would be a great place to land for Wagler. If he drops that far, Atl or Dallas both would be great. Just don't want him stranded on the Kangz.

I would like to see Wagler to the Clippers and learning from Kawhi Leonard...

Clippers, Nets, Kings, Hawks, Mavericks pick 5-9 in order.

1) Who do we think picks Wagler?
2) Which teams would be really good fits for him?
3) Is there any possibility the Bulls take him at 4, or will they stick with whoever is left of the consensus top 4 picks?

I see Keaton as potentially a better fit with the Clippers at 5 than Acuff or Flemings would be. He does all the stuff Kawhi doesn't and vice versa. And if they retain Benedict Mathurin, that's good size, length, and effort on the wing.

Learn what from Kawhi Leonard?

A kid as young and as moldable as Keaton will benefit most from structure. He is absolutely nowhere near ready to play in an NBA game. Whoever drafts Keaton isn't drafting the guy who suits up in 2026-2027. They'll be counting on the guy who gets fully developed in their system and will be ready to roll in 2027-2028 or at the end of 2027 when his team is in full developmental mode because they're eliminated from having a quantifiable successful season(wins and losses). That's where Riley got a huge benefit. The Wizards were SO good awful that Will got critically important, non stressful, minutes.

It would take him to fall in the draft and lose some money, but, #8 - Atlanta, # 9 - Dallas, # 11 - Golden State or # 12 - OKC would be ideal.

Those are all good, solid teams, with proven structures, in cities that aren't overwhelming and players that care more about winning than their bank accounts.

The Bulls, Kings, Clippers and Nets are where careers die upon arrival.

Between LAC / Brooklyn / Sacramento where would we like to see Keaton?
None of them. Falling to the Hawks, Mavs, Warriors or Thunder would be the best scenario for him. He'll make a little less upfront, but he'll be properly developed and will make the money up, in spades, on the back end.

Unfortunately, he's going to get stuck in one of those three dumpster fires, but maybe his lack of being ready to play now will allow him to drop into a winning situation. Joining Flagg would be the most ideal spot, being with Kerr would be the second best and being anywhere remotely close to OKC would be fantastic. First class organizations with first class winners.
