It appears no Kofi on summer league rosters? I wonder if thereā€™s no interest or he has contractual obligations that donā€™t allow him to play?

Was listening to Cody Westerlund on the Score today and he said that Bulls are basically in a holding pattern when it comes to Ayo. Could end up being a situation where he gets offered more money from another team than what the Bulls are willing to pay and he signs with that team. Sort of similar to the Lauri Markannen situation in years past.

to the best of my knowledge , the summer league is for rookies and those others (mainly unstaffed free agents with something to prove ) trying to impress NBA people

no one else wants to risk getting hurt without an NBA contract backing them up

+/- was a -6, 3rd worst on the team.....but he's in the NBA
He was sharing the floor with a couple guys who were killing them who will never get near an NBA game. Podz held up well on D, including having Keegan Murray for stretches (Murray mostly went off against Quinones). He was very hesitant to shoot and he got most of his points late. Showed good playmaking and floor awareness. Finishing in the paint over length will be a work in progress, his floaters rattled out in this one.

Not all NBA players on the floor, but enough to understand he won't be completely out of his depth. Apparently those Illini practices where he looked unplayable are tougher than NBA Summer League (just to rile folks up ;)).

Can't speak to any contractual obligations but I did see that he signed with a team in the KBL (Korean Basketball League) for this upcoming season. When I looked yesterday at his new team's roster, his name does not appear yet

That will have guys saying that you don't know what you are talking about. You are really going to rile up folks.

Hope Andre gets the help he needs. Shades of Jereme Richmond. So much talent but he's his own worst enemy.

Man, Im no nba scoutā€¦but watching Podz today was almost like watching a young Manu Ginobili on the offensive end. Played at his own pace, very crafty, old man game (in a good way) with great bb iq.

I know this isnā€™t the right place to post this, but are there any former illini playing in summer league that we can track? Is Kofi on a team?
