People giving so much love to Podz....in essence, he is not a good NBA player. Decent role player at best.

I mean the point in the clip re: Podz reading Wemby still stands, but it's pretty hilarious that he didn't even draw iron on a wide open 3.

Also, I'm not disputing the Podz miss argument.

Brad screwed up with Podz. He is playing like he did his first 2 years in the NBA. I have personally said it enough times, and don't feel the need to keep bringing it up.

Not many Illini off that team playing in the NBA, but Podz is.

Link to his stats

Podz is a really really really good NBA player he is going to make so much money. Absolute whiff by Brad anyone who watched him play up in Wisconsin knew it I will truly never understand.

26 points 9 rebounds on 10/18 shooting tonight 5/8 from 3 on Amazon right now against the Rockets. One of the best rebounding guards in the league.

I'll be honest this feels kinda cheap, game isn't competitive and he's just spamming the stat sheet lol

Guess I should shut up, I'll certainly never sniff 80+ in an NBA game :)

I’ll always gravitate more towards the hyper efficient games as the best ever.

But I might be in the analytics nerd camp and just need to accept cool when it’s cool lol

Is 83 points on 43 shots not efficient?

No it is. I’m not turning my nose down at it lol.

Tbh, my brain can’t even compute where to evaluate 43 free throws in all of this

I fully admit. I’m a huge Bam fan. I’ve wanted him in Indy (huge pacers guy) for a long time. So I love this game for him.

I’d probably be hating a bit if SGA or Trae did this on that many free throws. But bam will always get the benefit of the doubt from me 😆

That's 4 more than the previous NBA single game record for free throw attempts.

I don't know who was fouling him so much, it certainly wasn't Will Riley who was taking a, let's say Hamer-ian approach to helpside defense on some of Bam's drives 😬

It was a lot of, let’s just say, interesting fouling at the end

Jaden Hardy was one of 3 Wizards with 5 fouls, for those that like fun random references to guys who briefly lit up this board during past recruiting cycles.
