If you guys think Brad hanging on to timeouts is bad, Kenny Atkinson just watched his Cavs team, up 22 with 7 minutes left in the 4th, give up an 18-1 run before finally deciding to call a timeout. The Cavs were up 93-71 with 7 minutes to go in the 4th. From that point until the end of OT, the Knicks went on a 44-11 run to win a game they had zero business winning.
That coaching malpractice by Kenny Atkinson last night is what will get you fired as a head coach. Complete massive chokejob by the Cavs. Why in the world would you lean on James Harden that much during those final 8 minutes in the 4th quarter? Hoping James Harden will deliver in crunch time in a playoff game is like hoping drinking bleach doesn't poison you. Jalen Brunson torched Harden on offense. Also disastrous not calling those timeouts when the Cavs players were clearly exhausted.

I like what Silver did w/the 3-2-1 plan to disincentivize tanking. He needs to do something similar and up the focus on calling the flopping fouls.
