This is along with a few other reasons are why I donāt watch much NBA. Tuned in for awhile last night and finally turned it off in disgust.

I remember seeing a clip years ago that I think the visitor's locker room at the old Boston Garden was right across from one of the men's bathrooms and players actually had to go use that bathroom during games.
If it is possible for someone to be ranked within the top 15 players all-time to be under appreciated, Akeem was.

He has his natural shooting motion where his legs go forward and then at the end he does the extra kick to make sure he falls down. Its so practiced and he does it on almost all of his shots. Its absolutely wild the refs would ever call it without being absolutely sure they saw real contact not just his falling.

Imagine selecting the 2 of the 3 best PGs of a generation in the same draft, and keeping neither through their 27th birthday...
Cavs threw in the towel after their chokejob in game 1. Reports are coming in that Atkinson will be back to coach Cleveland (bit of a shock if you asked me). As for the Knicks, it seems like Mike Brown is willing to make more adjustments than Thibs. That's probably why the Knicks are in the position they are now making it to the NBA Finals.
What a brutal sequence! Spurs coach asking for a challenge in the face of the official, the ref blatantly ignores him, AND their call was clearly wrong. Just awful.

Are you guys being serious or is this some reference to the Rick Brunson masseuse incident?
To make a long story short, Patrick Ewing is not Brunson's dad. Brunson's dad is Rick Brunson, who played with Ewing on the Knicks. Years later Brunson got in some trouble because when he used the name "Patrick Ewing" to book the services of a masseuse who had previously banned him from booking her, due to some sexual misconduct type stuff.

I get that the general perception in the NBA is that there isnāt a lot of defense played. I can understand that sentiment more often than not. But last night, the third quarter of the Spurs-OKC game shows that perception isnāt always true. San Antonio put OKC in a vise grip for 12 minutes and didnāt let go. The Thunder were chasing shadows the rest of the night.
If you have Peacock, watch the third quarter from last night. For those like me who like watching good team defense, it was awesome to watch.
