Just my observation watching this series:

whenever Wemby sets a screen for one of their guards, he ALWAYS has a wide open 3 if he stays out on the 3pt line.

But they keep rolling him in those ball screen situations, which isn't working. Or they're having him go 1 v 1 on the perimeter, which isn't his strength.

Think of those Tomislav threes at the top of the key.

Castle is young. But there's no way he should not have been expecting that pass. You could argue that other players might not. But a point guard should always be expecting the ball in the back court.

I’m pretty sure the only reason Illinois was even an option was that his then girlfriend and now wife was going to go to Illinois.

Don’t think his Dad was gonna let him go to IL tho. He was set on him playing in Philly like he did only with Villanova instead of Temple. I listen to The Starting Lineup on Sirius and Brian Scalabrine tells a story that when Scal was with the Bulls, Jalen Brunson used to play pickup with him while he was in HS. And Scal said his dad (who was Asst Coach with Bulls) rode him harder than any dad he’s ever seen. Said it was brutal how hard he was on him. So I think Rick basically wasn’t gonna let Jalen go to IL even if he wanted to

Today's basketball has a lot of dumb aspects that makes it hard to watch sometimes. The Spurs tonight just show why that is. Lol. How you blow a 29 points lead on the road? Lmao!

Got too trigger happy with the 3 in the second half and just weren't hitting them like they did in the 1st half. That plus the Knicks started hitting shots quite a bit too.
