Yah they're supposed to be quarantined in Indy.
I saw some on a GT board are speculating the covid patient is Moses Wright, which would be killer for them. However, I'm chalking that up to the tendency for message board posters always jumping to the worst possible conclusion when no information is available.

Cuonzo can still mess it up. He has the worst Performance Against Seed Expectations for any coach in the tournament... (Page 45). And sure, he probably has some good reasons for that, but that's not going to stop me from bringing it up.

I agree but you have to admit having a top notch big in only his second year not foul out of a single game in the entire season is pretty dang impressive. Did Meyers foul out in his 2nd season? I can't remember
Hopeful Elite Eight question— Anybody know how to find out which game will be the Midwest region championship game? My only opportunity to see a tournament game this year will be the Illini’s Elite Eight game. It would be the 29th or 30th, but it seems impossible to find this info on date and time. Anybody got this intel?

Isn't officially known quite yet. BYU making the Sweet 16 could throw a wrench into the plans as well. If the Cougars make it to the Sweet Sixteen, then the Illini Elite Eight game would be Tuesday. If the Cougars don't make it that far, then the Elite Eight game would be Monday.
As far as the time, a lot of that will depend on what the match-up is in the other bracket that same night.

That's interesting. I forgot about the BYU rule. I wonder why the committee didn't just put them in a Saturday-Monday region to start with.
They did for the first two rounds. Didn't realize until after the bracket came out that they had put them in a Sunday-Tuesday region for the 2nd weekend.
