Completely and utterly shameful. Brad is out of excuses and out of hyperbole. 8-3 is a straight up failure.
We literally suck at home. Tired of poor energy every first half. That’s all coaching. Sad to see them waste another decent roster. Mirk didn’t even play the second half lol
None of that matters if we don't let them shoot 46% from 3.

I am tired of pretending. I think Brad Underwood is a low IQ basketball coach. Roster construction: great. Culture: pretty good most of the time. Gameplay and execution? F-. He helped us get relevant but he is a bad coach. I’m so exhausted watching him get outcoached CONSTANTLY. Did anyone know that Illinois has no won 3 consecutive quad 1 games since the Ayo-Kofi year? That’s ridiculous. I love Brad as a man but he can’t coach a team with the ceiling that a team like this has. Rant over.

Great heart to finish the game but the defense is terrible. New defensive guy gotta figure something out we get cooked every game. Nebraska is better than I thought as well they deserved the W they played better. I still think the Illini are more talented overall
Very unlikely we could have got a shot off, but could Brad not have called a timeout there and asked the refs to look at the clock rather than conceding the game? It looked like there may have been 0.4 or 0.5 left, which may have at least allowed for a hail mary shot.
Deserved win for Nebraska. They lead pretty much the whole game. Very soft from the Illini. Reminded me of USC last year at home. Just inexplicable.

We are who we are, I don’t see this team doing anything again this year. Disappointing, but I think this is the ceiling with Brad. We’ll get a 3-5 seed and drop our second round game unless someone goes on a crazy heater like TJ did.
The officiating was awful, but the majority of the iffy calls went our way. We did not lose this game because of the zebras. We lost because we were not prepared enough, because they were better coached and were more ready to run an offense that consistently gave the right players on their team good looks. We lost because our defense was absolute dog$(%%...also on the coaching.
