Eagles are far and away the number one team to beat in the NFC. Everyone else Rams, Lions, Packers, and Bucs are all fighting for number 2.
Welp, that didn't last long. Eagles are infighting. Bucs looking good with Baker looking like a top MVP contender.

Hate to say it, but Justin Fields' NFL career as a starter looks to be done. He's a backup in this league. The guy has a cannon of an arm but is scare to throw the football. He's still holding on to the football too long and that might be due to him hesitating to throw it even when he sees a open receiver on his first read or he simply can't process information quick enough. You cannot be a starter in this league if you demonstrate that lack of poise in the pocket. It sucks, because I always rooted for him when he was in Chicago due to how he carried himself and never threw anyone under the bus really.

Is there bad blood with the alma mater & Quan Martin?

Only using his home town on SNF

Oh for god's sake. Why do people have to make this a thing on here? There is nothing going on. Players are given the option when they do those before the start of the season as to where they want to say their from. I doubt many people at Cincinnati care that Travis Kelce says he's from Cleveland Heights, Ohio on SNF.

Because I was curious?

Lighten up Francis.

Most every team's jerseys from the 70's/80's remain their best color combos by far. It was the era before all the off colors (teal, fluorescent green, etc) worked their way into the sports team color scheme rotation.

Also, it was before the concept of wear a alternate jersey or 2 (or 3 or 8) a few times a year for no other reason than to move merch. Teams had a road uni & a home uni and that was it.

Just off the top the follow have changed (in some cases drastically) their main uniform since that era & in every case the newer one is worse IMO:

Patriots
Rams
Bucs
Eagles
Washington
Seahawks
Chargers

I exclude the expansion teams or the teams that moved & changed names when they moved (eg: Ravens, Titans)

IWill with a punt return TD!!!!!!
I didn’t see the punt return, but caught the last 6 minutes of the game and it was like watching one of the Bears bad teams.

Browns drive for a FG to pull within 7 with 3 minutes left. They then get Jets in a 3rd and 16. Steady rain and Fields has thrown for only 54 yards (attempted 11 passes I think), so Jets are likely to play conservative, punt and put it in D’s hands. Browns sack Fields for a one yard loss, but DB is called for holding — first down Jets.

Still almost 2 minutes left and Browns have 2 timeouts, so still a chance. They stop them 3 straight, so 4th and 5 with a minute left. Jets line up and do the obligatory try to draw them off, take the penalty and punt. Except, they draw a guy offsides. Best three minutes of defense ruined by stupid penalties I’ve ever seen.
