Nope, that was the home game that JCL rolled his ankle. I believe AJ started the game in Evanston.
That is correct.....started at NW and played 4 minutes. Played only once since then.

George Washington won last year's NIT.
I agree along with, "We need to clean that up."I don't want to hear that phrase again for a long time. Heard that way too many times in Groce's post-game comments after losing by 20.
They're so sad. I'm not being sarcastic or snarky or critical. They all just seem so sad.

Halves instead of quarters is one of the few things I prefer about college basketball's rules as opposed to the NBA. And the foul structure goes along with that.
Always worth it to experiment, but I am not inclined to see this as an improvement.
?Like can we just get this over with, now.
This is probably the most excited I have been about a game all year.
There is a great chance that Illinois will play fast and free and beat Valpo by 16.
I like having Walker stepping up-This guy has the real pulse of the team. Expect our players to be let loose and play fast.

 GAME TIME UPDATE
Tonight's #Illini game vs. Valpo now starts at 6 pm CT and will be on @ESPN.
Wonder what the goals will be with this game/tourney? Will it be a chance to give older players one last go, or with the coaching change, will we try to continue to develop the younger guys? Will we see JT and MTJ, maybe even AA?
They couldn't find somewhere to get interviewed without a construction project going on around them? Geez..
