Thank you coaches for helping Illinois reach the heights we all expect from this program. Excited to see who we add next, I have all the faith in the world in this program right now.

Thank you for helping us get better. You're welcome for the opportunity that UI gave you to move on/back.

Now, let's get some assistants who are ALL IN for the ILLINI!!! We don't need anymore stone-steppers unless it is on to a head coaching position.

I love it how Orlando is wearing an orange and blue tie in the photo above, and Chin has a hint of orange, too.

Adios. Thanks.

It is kind of an honor that Kentucky poached Illinois guys.

So OA is only an associate coach now? Ouch.

Can someone clarify their coaching structure? Obviously one of these guys isn't going to have an on floor/recruiting role

The two will occupy two of the three on-court assistant coaching positions on the 2021-22 staff. Jai Lucas will remain in the other assistant coaching position and Bruiser Flint will be elevated to associate to the head coach. Both Lucas and Flint are entering their second seasons at Kentucky.

Is Bruiser Flint getting a "Jamaal Walker" promotion?

Exactly.

Thanks Coach OA and Coach RC for your efforts, however, I am sure Illini AD Whitman is Zooming Kentucky AD Mitch Barnhart about the rules of the game with memories/conversation of Bruce Pearl and Kelvin Sampson.
In case anyone needs to contact AD Barnhart to congratulate him on two new hires.... try mbarn@uky.edu

Ok, there gone. Now who comes in to replace them. I'm sure Coach has already reached out to coaches he'd like to add to the staff.
