His game-winning TD will honestly go down as one of the craziest and most epic moments in Illini football history, given this season ended up being such a rare 9+-win season! It was an absolute pleasure to watch Pat Bryant play football for the University of Illinois.
He's out of eligibility.Does he have the ability to come back if he doesn't hire an agent? Or does that only apply in the basketball realm
so is this then just conformation he won't play in the bowl?
I was wondering the same thing. I really want to see him on the field one last time.so is this then just conformation he won't play in the bowl?
I really hope he does. I want to see him one last time if they end up the in the Citrus Bowl and will need him against a top SEC opponent.could be
Given he is out of eligibility and the timing of the announcement, I think it is highly logical to conclude that Bryant will be opting out of the bowl game, which should come as no surprise to us. This is in his best interest, and I am excited to see him develop at the next level. Preparing for the draft is in itself a full-time job, so I am happy he made this announcement much earlier. I want to see him continue to climb up the draft boards, as it will make Illinois even more appealing for potential high end recruits. The timing of the announcement also allows proper practice time for the bowl game for the other receivers that will still be around.so is this then just conformation he won't play in the bowl?
No, you can opt out of your team's bowl game and still play in the Senior Bowl.Wouldn't he also be opting out of the Senior Bowl? We just saw that invite video yesterday...
