They blasted Gonzaga and creighton. We lost a game to a good team. It happens.

At halftime, if you told me we'd hold Penn State to 27 in the second half, I would have taken it and assume a comfortable win. We scored 21 lousy points in the second half.
Shameful performance from the coaches all the way down to the equipment manager. You can't let Penn Effing St come in and torch the nets.

Brad doesn't know what's going to happen when he presses any button on his Coaching Machine. We have a lot of good players but no identity or calling card at all.
We're nowhere even close to being a conference championship type team.
Penn State isn't better than Texas, but the gap isn't giant. A 4 seed versus a 10 seed.
But all in all we wouldn't have deserved the ranking we'd have gotten by winning this game, so lets hope it starts to be a catalyst to find something reliable within our group.
We'll keep trying hard, we know that much, and that's a place to start.

Let’s relax, FFS. Texas is good. UCLA is good. Maryland and UVA are good, and we hung with each.
We have plenty to work on, but why do people desperately need to think in black and white and exaggerate? We have things to work on, and we need to find consistency. Leave it at that.
Well this just means go on a 10 game winning streak
My biggest concern through the preseason was our offense and defense both relied too much on just out athleting the other teams, and that good big ten coaches who have plenty of time to scout and plenty of tape to look at will pick this thing apart. And now we're 0-2 and just lost one of easiest big ten games of the year (per kenpom but also just by looking at the big ten). I think this style of play could be good in March when teams don't have much time to prepare, but I think it might suck in January and February.
I thought when we were past the crazy Penn State losses.

I HATE Saturday morning tips in the BIG, we put up a complete dud once again in an early start. Terrible D, no flow at all on offense. Slept walked thru the entire game. bad effort. Hats off to PSU they did exactly what they were supposed to do. Shoot 3s and make layups or at least shots at the rim.
