Why are we sitting here blaming random low-tier assistants? If any of the real assistant coaches and/or Brad know that there’s a problem but haven’t addressed it, then that’s on them.

Stop watching the Illini and you should feel like a million in no time.
So if we have 3 really good defenders in Coleman, Ty, and TSJ, and 2 decent defenders in Marcus and Quincy, anyone have thoughts on why we can’t play defense?
They are going to be in that 4/5 seed range which is a very bad place to be. I don't know what's worse, being pinned in a region against Houston or UCONN or being pinned in a region against against the likes of Tennessee or Marquette even if they were to somehow get a 3 seed. But, at this point, they're screwing themselves

How do you sell this program to TSJ-like players when he sets records and our team just keeps coming up short? We are not Jaden Epps and George Town(?) but we certainly haven't played to our collective capability over the last several years. How do you talk to recruits about a program with all league defense with Trent and Andres and Co and then what we have now?

Goode might be the worst defensive player I've ever seen suit up for us and that's honestly not an exaggeration IMO.

Also can't preach constantly about "everyday guys" and then have Ty only play 15 minutes in this game. I understand he couldn't make FTs earlier in the year but still no excuse for not having him in there.

I know some things are schematic but are the other coaches just not teaching defense at all? The players just look more lost and unsure of themselves on that end than I've ever seen from a BU team.
Also at the end of the day it's on BU to make a change when what they are doing isn't working. He said in his pregame press conference they were doing some things defensively he didn't agree with. THEN WHY ARE YOU DOING THEM?
