Domask is a terrible option to bring the ball up the court. Combine that with indecision, opposition ball pressure, double teaming, and a coach that won't adjust, you get a loss. Again. Our opponents have figured it out, but somehow we haven't.

When we are up 4 our best FT shooter was throwing the ball in and never touch the ball again. Inexcusable.

Yeah, it is not lost on me that he blew the two free throws to ice the game and then fouled the 3-point shooter. Who promptly made all 3 of his free throws to win it. We were 18 - 27 on Free throws 66%, not the time to revert to our old ways on FT shooting.
This is one of the worst collapses I have seen. I wish Coleman didn't have these moments he did everything wrong at the end there
Coleman spends the week trolling and enjoying the limelight. Maybe keep your mouth shut, get your head straight, and focus on actually winning. It's a mental thing. I like Underwood as our coach but I think we can expect a lot of full court pressure in any tournament play; why do we still look like we're not prepared for that? Hats off to Penn State. Fun game to watch, but Illinois... that's embarrassing.
We gave up so many wide open layups… At this point in the season there’s no fixing this defense. Hate to say it friends, but some mid major is going to carve us up in the tourney.

Do you think the Big Ten refs have A-N-Y reason to prefer an awful PSU team who won’t sniff the Tournament to beat one of two ranked teams in the league who has any chance at a halfway decent seed and a March Madness run?!

I called this out after the Tennessee game, I'm not some basketball savant by any means and I picked up on it. Safe to say every grad assistant in the country picked up on it too.
And this is why you need a true PG.
And this is why we have a capped ceiling with Underwood. Completely unacceptable.
THAT was the play of the game? Of all of the BS that we did to ourselves, you look at the refs? You can't be serious. We were up 7, with the ball, with 40 seconds left.
This is on effort, focus and execution by a team of seniors.
