I'm sure it's already been said that this is the most pos loss I have ever witnessed by the Illini . No excuses for this. However. can.t let this be a Debbie downer for the rest of the season. Im sure the team is miserable. Character and toughness must come to the top now.

What is Coleman's pic with the PSU white t-shirt gonna look like now?
Yeah, it is not lost on me that he blew the two free throws to ice the game and then fouled the 3-point shooter. Who promptly made all 3 of his free throws to win it. We were 18 - 27 on Free throws 66%, not the time to revert to our old ways on FT shooting.

Whatever.

I'll continue to watch and enjoy the good, but I have no expectations of a March run. Not with these last 4 or 5 defensive performances.

If you can't put it together with arguably the best player in college basketball and a 2nd round NBA 4/5? Whatever.

Glad we kept Ty from getting his 5th foul by keeping him on the bench. Other than Shannon playing his heart out, that was embarrassing. I just knew Coleman was gonna miss his FTs. You could tell he was out of sorts at the line. Gross.
Coleman spends the week trolling and enjoying the limelight. Maybe keep your mouth shut, get your head straight, and focus on actually winning. It's a mental thing. I like Underwood as our coach but I think we can expect a lot of full court pressure in any tournament play; why do we still look like we're not prepared for that? Hats off to Penn State. Fun game to watch, but Illinois... that's embarrassing.

And this is why we have a capped ceiling with Underwood. Completely unacceptable.

Play of the game was up 4 with about 30 seconds to go. Shannon is fouled after he split the double team. The inside defender grabbed his left arm. No call they score.
THAT was the play of the game? Of all of the BS that we did to ourselves, you look at the refs? You can't be serious. We were up 7, with the ball, with 40 seconds left.

This is on effort, focus and execution by a team of seniors.
