One thing I learned from watching this game … relax, … sit back, … listen to some Rick Astley, … and have a Dr. Pepper.

Yeah … when is somebody going to invent that 2-way TV we all need???With about 9 min left up 8ish points and 3 TOs left, Domask (I think) picked his dribble up 4 ft north of 3 point line… was in no man’s land and dead in the water… I’m screaming at Brad to call time out. He doesn’t. Ball gets stolen and they make a transition 3… I thought it was a self inflicted wound and a big momentum swing. All on Brad.
Lol, It would/could/should be considered that if it wasn’t a yearly occurrence.I hate this is considered a coaching strength by some. It just means they wasted all of camp on the wrong scheme.
And just accept being Illinois. One thing I learned from watching this game … relax, … sit back, … listen to some Rick Astley, … and have a Dr. Pepper.
@Indy Illini Fan please be on FaceTime with BU during all remaining gamesYeah … when is somebody going to invent that 2-way TV we all need???

Once again it comes down to coaching. BU is just not a good in game coach. You can have all the talent in the world but if you can’t coach in game that well than it doesn’t matter.Letting Kern get layup after layup for 13 straight points is what got Penn State back in the game. But Goode shooting a 3 with 20 seconds left on the shot clock was a huge mistake and coaching failure for not running time off the clock. Giving PSU 20 more seconds turned a W into an L.
The Domask dribbling the ball 500x between his legs, to then dribble to the sideline after crossing half court to get trapped isn’t the answer or the way it has to be.Who else has the ability to handle the ball and make free throws?
They've been doing the guard by committee since October. Get ready to keep soiling yourself because that's what we have.
FIFYup 7 with with 40 seconds to go. How the actual hell do you lose that?
BingoIf Penn State can run a normal out of bounds play to get 3 layups during the game we should be able to run a simple play just to get the ball inbounds
That’s putting it incredibly lightlyThis team is awful defensively.
Need something stronger than that tonight, Pruno sleep for pru tonight..........nope......nada.............zilch.................
Might have a drink or 5...........................
One of my favorite coaching books. (best 20 bucks I ever spent probably) Bob Huggins-I wonder if Brad has a copy? The Domask dribbling the ball 500x between his legs, to then dribble to the sideline after crossing half court to get trapped isn’t the answer or the way it has to be.
Maybe bring some guys to the ball in middle of floor and pass in backcourt into front court. Use the height of Coleman, TJ, etc.
Brad dropped the ball on personnel and you gotta be more creative that what we had to watch tonight.

I'd probably put Ty into that basket as well.Let's not forget the men playing for the Beloved are now paid professional players. The team, except for TSJ and MD, have not been playing up to expectation$.
It's one of our worst defenses of the last 20+ years. In fact, given the talent level on this team compared to the 3 teams that were statistically worse than this one, I would argue it is THE worst defense since Lon Kruger coached here at least. That’s putting it incredibly lightly
Whaaat?! Are you slagging Lon?It's one of our worst defenses of the last 20+ years. In fact, given the talent level on this team compared to the 3 teams that were statistically worse than this one, I would argue it is THE worst defense since Lon Kruger coached here at least.
I know he was very rough tonight, but overall this season Coleman has absolutely played up to expectations. Career high 12.4 points, nearly three stocks, playmaking, and most importantly a major leap to 38%+ 3-point shooting.Let's not forget the men playing for the Beloved are now paid professional players. The team, except for TSJ and MD, have not been playing up to expectation$.
