For funzies, thought I'd see where the board's crystal ball is at

Ty Rodgers will start and get the lion's share of the minutes, but Harmon will close with TSJ as the primary initiator during these periods.

Ty will start and will play the majority of the minuets even if he struggles. The staff has made too much noise about "he's our PG".

That's why I went with March for the poll. I tend to agree that they've committed to Ty as the PG, and that's not going to change unless one of the other options emerges as consistently better.

Good to see minuets making a comeback. Are two handed set shots next?

All of the above with TJ being the other. Positionless basketball. Ty a multi-position PG. Guess Ty gets my vote.

I think we'll end up seeing a lot of TJ at PG in general, and definitely at end of game.

What pg? As an option wins the poll . 😉 I hope for the best with this experiment of ty at pg. I'm just a little skeptical.

Ty will get the lions share of PG minutes until he shows he can't .....then it will be by committee ....dictated by matchups and in game situations

It will be Ty. And based upon what I've seen, I'm thinking he'll struggle with the roll. But it's Brad, and he's proven to be a stubborn customer in the past (Remember the pick and roll switching that wasn't working at all and how long we'll be stuck with it?). I'm hoping that Brad will eventually give DGL a chance given how well I understand he's done so far. At least DGL has the skills to grow into the position if not the experience. But given how much he's talked up Ty as his point guard so far, I'm not optimistic.

I’ve been on the TY PG band wagon since I watched him last year. Typically I like PG who can shoot it (ex Deron Williams). But Ty is a baller. At PG he presents serious matchup problems for other teams. He can get to the hole and finish. And he is a dog on the glass. He also sees the floor well. He can defend. He is gold if he has Goode, Domask, TSJ on the arc. Add Cohawk and it’s scary. Even with Dainja or Ammani he will be effective.

I also like what I’m hearing with DGL, Harmon & Morietti. I hope DGL is a pretty good shooter. That provides some nice contrast. Essential could move DGL to shooting guard with Ty if needed.

I’m optimistic of this season. Hopefully Goode & Domask provide more consistency to the shooting. And hopefully Hawk and TSJ have also improved

If Ty is a reliable FT shooter this year it’s him locked in. If he’s not, it will be based on matchups and needs for that part of the game. Offense/Defense with Dra and Ty might be our late game thing.

If Ty's shooting problems are still there, what's to stop defenses from just backing up, challenging him to shoot similar to jaylon tate?

Not sure how he would fit in other than having the same role as last year.

I think Ty can counter it by driving on a smaller guy backing off and forcing him to step up to defend or having a big slide to help which allows Dain to open up or if a wing pulls, to kick out for a 3.

Trying to be optimistic here. I have major concerns with this as well.

I'd be curious what the coaches are trying to throw at him in practice, or if he has a preferred shot selection away from the basket. Even scoring at 2 levels is better than 1.

Hopefully they are NOT going easy on him to build his confidence. Every opponent will test him without a doubt. He needs to be ready for everything.

Found it telling that in crunch time it was Domask bringing it up. Hard to have Ty out there if he can't shoot FTs in the last few minutes of a down to the wire game.
