I like it. If it's OSU, Illini will have to be focus and if they win, I don't mind Maryland at all. Maryland buried them in Champaign. Let's hope both 'Rez and Tomi will be playing together. Just want to see how much Illinois has improved since three weeks ago, and what a better way than with a matchup against the Terps.

For me it always depends on matchups. Always want to win the first in the BTT just to keep some good vibes going. But for March Madness it depends on who we lose to. The Houston loss I was okay with. We fought hard but Houston was the better team. The Arkansas loss felt bad. We didn't play well and never really had a chance.

With our short rotation
Win first game in btt then lose and likely 6 seed
Illinois history of upsets in ncaat is very few so making s16 would be a good season

Exactly - thought this board said we can’t handle at Michigan or PU. This team literally has a better kenpom efficiency and Q1 wins by a lot then last year. People find facts hard on this board.

I like our draw. I know it's not a popular opinion, but I would love to see us get another game against Maryland. If we're really worth our salt and have legitimate aspirations for a long run in the NCAA tournament, we should be able to play a better game and send them packing.

I agree about MI being broken. Wolf and the rest except Goldin do not look the same. Looking forward to the BT tourney. PU was the odds on favorite last year but who won the BT tourney. Orange and Blue.
