First road game in forever it seems. Just come out with the same high energy levels we have the last two games and we should be fine.

If we can get Kofi going early on, I don't think they can keep up.

Even though it's a road game against long-time archrival Indiana, it's probably our easiest game of the next 3.

Should be a great game. Loosiers beat Squawks on their home court earlier, so can't take them lightly. Our guards should give us the edge in this one, though. Go Illini!

Pregame stat check for Hoosiers:

-2d in B10 for opponent FGA.... 56.2
-11 in B10 for opponent 2p%.... .512
-13 in B10 for opponent 3p%.... .378
-11 in B10 for rebounds.........32
-11 in B10 for FT%.....66%
-14 in B10 for 3PA. ...19.8

I think we will win this handily by pushing/controlling the pace (their primary approach appears a slow down game...hence Iowa only 69 points against them)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think IU is our longest road losing steak against any team in the Big Ten? I don’t remember us ever winning there since I started following Illini basketball in 2010. Let’s end that please?

Was gonna say longest streak would be Maryland, but we actually beat them on their court back in ‘11 before they joined the conference. I think IU is longest.

Yes this game worries me a little as everybody was pointing to the Iowa game. I hope we don’t have a let down as IU is good enough to beat us if we come in lackadaisical

Without fans the home courts have not meant as much- this is a game we should win- we need to keep momentum going into Michigan

Michigan is definitely legit and Howard has them playing well- but they have only played one ranked team on the road and they lost by 28, they have a very favorable schedule. If we have any hopes of winning the conference we obviously need to beat Michigan- they could lose 4-5 games this year

We might see the arena again in late March against a diff opponent

If BU has them dialed in, like I know he will, 77-68 Illinois!
