OK, Michigan lost to PSU last night and they looked much worse than I had anticipated. That makes it hard for me to predict an Illini loss on Saturday given how great we looked and how bad Michigan looked this week. Even so, I'm sure Michigan will be favored in the game.Looked like several empty seats at Michigan tonight.
It seemed like vs. PSU, Michigan missed some shots they might otherwise make. Brooks was shooting well against Iowa.
Yesterday, not specifically one player but it seemed like a number of shots were bouncing out. If they work a lot on their shooting this week to address a poor shooting night (and get a lot of open looks) it could be a different game on Saturday.
If Giorgi and Kofi can stay out of foul trouble that should favor the Illini. As others have said UM has holes in the frontcourt.

NW sucks too much to be listed. They're not a rival and I don't hate them. It would be like Duke acknowledging a fear of Clemson. The Cats are too irrelevant to even mention.
...At the beginning of the year who would have thought that at this point we would be in second place. Could have been tied for first except for the Md game.
A win against Michigan and it's going to be awfully difficult to avoid a conversation about being a serious Big Ten conference champion contender.

Guy here likes to say "More to be pitied, than scorned."
In conference, Illinois and MSU are both undefeated at home and .500 on the road. (They've played only two road games so far, we've of course played four).A win against Michigan and it's going to be awfully difficult to avoid a conversation about being a serious Big Ten conference champion contender.
By the way, you might want to update those cumulative winning percentages for Illinois and Purdue. It's now .640 to .639 (still Purdue on top).Well, let’s not count on the teams on our schedule to help us out ... just keep winning!
Our bigs haven't really been in much foul trouble this year, especially Kofi.It seemed like vs. PSU, Michigan missed some shots they might otherwise make. Brooks was shooting well against Iowa.

A win @Iowa. IMVVHO.
A win at Michigan should start a convo on starting the BTT on the 3rd day. Top 4.
Was reading a Michigan board, and several posters say the team is lacking chemistry, and don't expect it to get better until Howard's stud class (#4 nationally) comes in next year. That's fine with me.
You're pretty late to that party. We have a 57% chance to finish top 4. Very well within reach even if we lose to Michigan and Iowa.
er, would that be a rare pumpernickel closer? This team looks locked in and Ayo is closing, big time. Closers are a rare bread and we're blessed to have him.
