Today REALLY elevated my opinion of this squad, which was already high. I'm not going to pretend like there couldn't be a letdown in our next several games, but man ... this team is G-O-O-D. I'll just go ahead and say it, this is the best team we have had since 2005. 2006 was COMPLETELY reliant on Dee and Augie, and we won or lost with their play (which, admittedly, was usually pretty good). 2011 and 2013 weren't this tough. There is just no reason we can't win any given game left on our schedule.

It feels great to be confident in our team again. I truly think we can beat anyone at any time if we play like we did tonight.
We will obviously lose multiple more games this season. But, unless we take a drastic turn for the worse, I’m picking the Illini.

Some people have the most hate for Indiana. Some Iowa. Some Missouri. I respect you all. But from Glen Rice’s three, to the two-blown-fumble calls in 2001, to back-breaking BTT losses to keep us off the bubble... my hatred boils hottest for that dirty !!!!! they call Ann Arbor. Broke an 8-game losing streak in Madison by out-toughing the Badgers.
Broke a 9-game losing streak in West Lafayette by out-toughing Purdue.
I'd say our 5-game losing streak in Ann Arbor should worry the Wolverines.

I thought if we stay close to Pu by 7-9 points we might have a chance. Proved me wrong. I just didn’t think we could do it Mackey. But seeing the building clearing out was the best. Beat them twice on the court and once on the football field is so nice. As my granddaughter would say,”perfect.”
