We can’t defend the ball screens and switches very well.

Michigan state unless they made significant offensive changes we match up very well

I had convinced myself we were an extremely well rounded team, built for a Tournament run … I know am forced to think we can only win consistently if we shoot well. I’d love so much to be proven wrong, but we likely have to shoot lights out to win in East Lansing. Hope we do.

Michigan state misses their fair share of shots. I'd reckon this rutgers game was the hardest game left on our schedule. We match up fine with every team left.

Hope you’re right, my friend. The second half letdown vs. NU and today’s performance give me a terrifying nervousness about our “fire” right now. Countless mistakes these past two games where it was 100% just mental and due to not being amped enough. I can deal with poor play, but TOUGHNESS has been an essential part of our identity under BU, and it’s been lacking.

Beat MSU, and we are back on track.

Hope Kofi can start reading the defense and reacting again instead of making up his mind before he even gets the ball. Saw it way too often today. Trying to make a post move when he was double or triple teamed, but forcing a pass out when he only had one guy on him. Don’t know if it was by design or based in positional defense, but Rutgers mixed it up on him and he looked like he made up his mind before they did anything.

Let RJ uses his athleticism to penetrate inside 15 ft and watch him create for guys. Dmw, grandison basically just pass it around the 3pt line and never penetrate, making them 1 dimensional.

Our super seniors have been exposed and now everyone knows that Jake and Monte can't beat any off the dribble drive and if they get lucky to beat someone they can't finish and will rush the shot. Can't have wings just sit around the perimeter without the ability to beat someone off the bounce. Too many 1 dimensional offensive players.

Just two games ago DMW was driving and scoring. Grandison has had some good driving games as well. Relax. They are both slumping. I'm more concerned about their lack of effort.
